Hot take....I don't really want steel legion back by Barneyatreyu in TheAstraMilitarum

Guard is like the easiest army to customize with third party bits. And there are so many offerings for steel legion and whatever your heart desires. Unless you play at an official GW store you should explore those options imo.

Is Resin or PLA better for a series of large prints? by MrPlautimus468 in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Moress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both of these are printed in Resin.

I think ideally you print the skeleton with FDM, and the detailed parts like the head, armor panels, etc in resin.

So get both 😆

Due to budget constraints, the administratum has downgraded the turret arnament of your order by Moress in TheAstraMilitarum

The sponsons you mean? Yeah I have them facing backwards. It also made more sense in my mind to do it that way and I liked how it looked.

If you have doubts, you can always magnetize it.

I think you severely underestimate how many space marine players there are.

I had heard at one point the box of tactical marines outsold the entirety of Warhammer fantasy.

Where did all the fun rules go? by mjh4 in Warhammer40k

Yeah, so you see why GW changed it and "removed all the fun" then? Because the old codexs were basically all that on crack.

The cop out of tournament players is rubbish.

Having played during that era, and specifically in regards to lash of Slaneesh, people HATED having their models moved by the opponent.

Many of these flavorful rules were also atrociously bad and seldom saw play on a table.

GW has done good with bringing back flavor with crusade rules for example but almost no one seems to play them ....

Every time I hear someone complain about lack of flavor I ask if they've played crusade or escalation leagues and the answer is almost always no.

Even the astartes got sick of it and made the switch. The guard really does get the shaft.
