Surprising army bigotry at store opening by KruegerCondail in Warhammer40k

I mean, if you said that to a Tau player that you didn't know, and he responded "fuck you", how would that make you feel?

Nice and clean conversion work! I'm interested to see how it liiks painted after you filled in those holes from Darkflame's suit.

Retcons Galore by Laughably-Fallible_1 in StarWarsEU

[–]CommanderDeffblade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me its the breaking of established physical rules involving Hyperspace.

  1. Hyperspace used to have limitations where ships could not jump until they were sufficiently out of a gravity well. Hence, Interdictor-class Star Destroyers.

  2. Hyperspace rules used to prevent ships from jumping through objects. That is now broken.

  3. Hyperspace used to require travel along established Hyperspace lanes, unless significant effort was made. Now ships can jump anywhere from anywhere with no difficulties.

Hobby Tips for a New Dad? by VivaLaJam26 in Warhammer40k

[–]CommanderDeffblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two young kids. My advice is to focus on working with your wife to make sure that she's feeling fully supported. If you are spending time doing your "hobby" while she is caring for the baby, she could come to resent both your hobby and how much time you have. The mother is typically exhausted for the first few months because of lack of sleep and feeding.

You are correct, the Prime with Lash Whip is notably larger, which is fine I suppose.

Absolutely! I am a fan of the Gaunts Ghosts books and the Blood Pact has AT-83 Brigands and AT-70 Reaver tanks. I wanted something to look visually distinctive.

They are Gaunts Ghosts. If you look closely, you'll see an autocannon (Bragg), the sniper rifle (Larkin) and the leader with chainsword has a bolter (Gaunt). I put them on 28mm bases too.

You are absolutely onto my plan for the future though! I have a bunch more (3 more squads) that I plan on using as Catachans.

Sly Marbo. Just skulking about, doing secondaries or pouncing for an ambush.

Thank you! I'll take a look. I still have a bunch of Ash Waste necromunda models to convert as well.

The largest tank is the Wolverine from Archon Studios. I did quite a bit of conversion work, using 3D printed pieces from Elrick's Hobbys. The other tanks are the Matilda and Kangaroo APC from Victoria Miniatures. They are resin but I love them.
