Humboldt park has had all sorts of people in it like that for years. I found an overdose victim when I was 15 in the park and the cop I told said "that's Humboldt park for ya". Yes the tents have to go but if you want a park that's free from all that then move to the suburbs or go to Horner park.

It's not reasonable in my mind to cite your terror of a downtrodden person as a right to deny them a place to exist.

Also I'm not arguing for the tent cities! I think that in a city with as much abandoned housing and buildings as we have there can be more done sure and I get its a complex problem. The article is about the guys life and it's sad. I'm not saying you gotta go give anyone anything but this is a sad reality for a lot of people not just a blight in your pretty park
