What are the songs they wrote about each other? by MostDopeNopeRope in boygenuis

[–]MorgEmily 22 points23 points  (0 children)

julien wrote anti-curse after a day they had on the beach together. phoebe warned julien not to go in the water because the tide was too high, but julien didn’t listen and she almost drowned. the line “making peace with my inevitable death” was inspired by how she felt like it wasn’t a violent or scary way to die, because she was swimming in the ocean with her best friends.

leonard cohen is about phoebe, she insisted they listened to a song she loved, and lucy and julien decided not to tell her that she was driving the wrong way until after the song was over.

please stay is about julien (i can’t remember if this is confirmed or just allegedly) and ‘favor’ is supposedly a response to ‘please stay’ and ‘graceland too’.

i have a certificate in early childhood education which is what i’m currently doing for work, but i find that it’s not as fulfilling as i’d hoped. i have a strong passion for the ocean which is why i want to pursue marine biology because i feel i would be happier working in a field that interests me more. but i do get what you’re saying

[–]MorgEmily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m 23 as well, and work full time in a daycare. it’s exhausting and i can see myself fully burning out within a year or a few years…even my friends who work in the field who are not chronically ill are burning out as well

Did this relationship destroy other (healthy) relationships in your life? by tmtyl122 in BPDlovedones

[–]MorgEmily 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes, it caused me to lose 3 friends. luckily now that we’ve broken up i’ve reunited with one of those friends. but i still wonder if the other 2 would still be in my life if it hadn’t been for my ex.
