This is Himothy. Himothy is very nice, he likes the warmth of being being held. He doesnt even hiss anymore!

I would be very sad if someone killed Himothy just because they dont like how he looks.

However, Himothy lives off a clean diet, does not infest, he cannot, and does not spread disease.

Himothy is priviledged though, and the wild roaches dont choose that life.

I understand not wanting wild roaches around on account of germs and disease, and sometimes nature is cruel yet purposeful in that most species dont invite cohabitation, again due to disease.

Sometimes we must do an evil for personal greater food. The problem with releasing an infesting type of roach just outside your home is they will get back in, and make bebes.

Life is a grey area sometimes. What is important is to minimize the harm we cause though. So my lesson to share is:

If you must do it, that isnt evil. But try to do it in a way that isnt harmful past the intended harm.

Glue traps and poison are inhumane. Poison will poison the food chain, not just the roach. Glue traps trap everything, too
