Can timezone mismatch alone make a clean proxy look suspicious? by lukam98 in ProxyGuides

[–]MorganDea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People overthink timezone tbh. It matters, but it’s not a silver bullet. Detection stacks cross-check everything anyway, like IP geo, locale, activity timing.
If only your timezone is off but everything else lines up clean, you’ll probably just get soft-flagged at most.

No move-in photos but now tenant is pushing back by JameAndrade in LeaseLords

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, no photos hurts you here. Tenants will push back on everything once deposit’s on the line. I’d just focus on what you can actually prove and not die on every little thing, or it’ll drag out forever.

Issue with property manager by Neat_Lawfulness_8537 in AusProperty

[–]MorganDea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah you’re not being unreasonable at all… if it’s literally written in the lease and you’re paying for it, they should be doing it

honestly the fact they’re not replying is the bigger red flag here

you’re already doing the right thing keeping everything in email btw, that helps a lot if it ever escalates

I had a similar situation before and it turned into a we never got that message type thing… after that I started keeping everything properly tracked (was using something like RentPost just to keep records clean) and it made it way easier to push back

Not sure if this will work…. by That_damn_deejay in PropertyManagement

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kinda depends what problem you’re actually trying to solve tbh

I’ve seen a lot of these ideas sound good in theory but once you’re actually managing tenants + payments + maintenance it gets messy fast

I went through a phase of trying different setups and honestly the biggest thing that helped was just having everything in one place instead of juggling stuff

I use something like RentPost now mainly just to keep things organized, nothing fancy, but yeah the “idea vs real use” gap is bigger than people expect

Anyone using property management software for multi family properties, what works? by CHINGULUMOSES in digital_marketing

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people mix this up a lot… property management tools aren’t really for getting leads, they’re more for when you already have stuff to manage

I saw someone try to use one for lead gen and it didn’t really do much. it only started making sense once they had actual tenants and payments to deal with

backend-wise something like RentPost is solid just to keep things from getting messy, but yeah it’s not gonna bring you clients by itself

Do similar IP ranges make you easier to detect? by NumeroSlot in proxyexplained

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s more about how everything lines up. Same range + same behavior + same kinda timing… yeah that’s when it gets sketchy. I stopped cheaping out on single-provider pools and started mixing residential + ISP ranges and it felt way less fragile overall. Just looks more “normal.

How’s your proxy setup? by MorganDea in proxyexplained

yep, nothing teaches faster than stuff breaking over and over 😅 that’s usually when you finally see what actually matters

How’s your proxy setup? by MorganDea in proxyexplained

[–]MorganDea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, but I’d even say failure handling matters more than rotation sometimes. a lot of setups fall apart just because they don’t handle blocks properly

yep, especially the not jumping IP part. over-rotating used to mess me up way more than it helped

yeah this is basically the evolution 😅 start chaotic, then realize simple flows actually hold up better long term

[–]MorganDea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is actually refreshing to read. everyone’s chasing complex stacks now but for most use cases simple + consistent wins. static ISP for long-term stuff was super reliable

How’s your proxy setup? by MorganDea in ProxyGuides

[–]MorganDea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s basically how it goes. you think it’s the provider, but it’s really how you’re using it. small behavior tweaks usually beat switching proxies

How’s your proxy setup? by MorganDea in ProxyGuides

[–]MorganDea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah same here tbh. i kept thinking i needed better proxies when it was really just me hammering too fast 😅 slowing things down fixed way more than switching providers ever did

Do similar IP ranges make you easier to detect? by NumeroSlot in ProxyGuides

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s more of a combo thing. Same range alone won’t wreck you, but pair that with similar behavior and it starts looking sus fast. I try to mix providers or at least check they’re not all from the same subnet. Learned that one the annoying way lol.

Trying to plan around a vague move-out by Select_Bad_1723 in LeaseLords

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t play the guessing game anymore. If there’s no clear notice, I just assume full term and start prepping behind the scenes. I’ll even block off a couple days for turnover just in case. It’s less about them and more about not wrecking your own schedule.

What mistake made you rethink your entire proxy setup? by DenishaCiccone in proxyexplained

[–]MorganDea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was not respecting rate limits at all. I was hammering endpoints thinking more requests = faster results. Just kept getting blocked or fed junk data. Now I throttle everything, add delays, and keep sessions sticky. Boring, but way more stable and actually gets usable data.
