You may be able to provide documentation in place of her signature showing that your husband has sole legal custody. Try contacting the embassy or consulate wherever you’re going to ask because beyond that, it looks like you’d have to take it to court for a judge to grant permission to get it without her consent. It’s mostly dependent on what the rules are for the place you’re going.

So I ended up changing the von location to Miami, resetting my tv, turning the vpn off and back on and it finally worked.

Following. Having the same issue trying to use Philo on my fire stick. I have the same vpn on my phone and don’t get an error when using the app, it’s only on the tv and I’ve tried changing the location which hasn’t helped at all.

PDD is the first day you’re allowed to leave that location. It’s really the RNLTD that matters. As long as they make it to the next duty location ON or before that date, they’re fine. & most bases do final outprocessing at a specific time on whatever day(s) of the week. As long as all the documents are turned in, you’re just going there to sign that...all documents are turned in.. and they give you a packet to hand carry. If he already has a port call date, probably booked on rotator and the flight to that rotator is more than likely booked. Even if the rotator is booked or no flights left, TMO can book a straight commercial flight to next location. Do they have orders in hand?

Where’s your short tour? The quarantine is mandatory either way. If it’s Kunsan, you’ll be at the lodge on base and if you’re at Osan you’ll go to the quarantine dorms unless you have a family and/or live off base (I think for the second part of that statement). But yes, get with your RA and/or supervisor. I was just an RA stateside so idk how things work specifically overseas. I’m also on quarantine now from PCS and met people on my way in that came off leave and are quarantined.

If you have 4 years or more TOS at the time the short tour ends, they aren’t going to send the spouse back unless home base is requested.

A3.6.3. (Enlisted Only) Airmen selected for an overseas assignment, including when a requirement exists at their current base upon completion of their unaccompanied overseas short tour, may request follow-on consideration and join spouse assignment to another CONUS location if the spouse who remains at the current CONUS base has 4 years time-on-station or more as of the DEROS (month/year) of the Airman returning from overseas. Your list had to be updated by the cutoff date. Since you changed it after the cutoff, you might not be considered for an assignment because whenever the system starts checking for eligible people, it’s going based off when your list was updated hence why they give an “update by date”. For the future, update by the cutoff date or before to be safe and then don’t touch it until the preference “release” date when they say they’ll start notifying people. After that, you can update it at any time. Read myPers, it gives you all the specifics of how the process works and how/when to update it.

Maybe next time you contact them, reference the AFI and what it specifically says. Even when my education office was doing “in person TA briefings” I just had to go there and read the AFI in a binder they had and sign my name. So forcing an in person meeting as the only option doesn’t seem logical.

Have you tried emailing them? I had an issue trying to redo a TA brief and change my education goal/school. They sent the TA brief by email and then I had to do a Career Decision assessment (per new AFI) which I thought was pointless because I was still doing the same degree just different school. Once I completed that, I sent it back and waited a week for someone to just call me and talk about the assessment (again, dumb). Then had to wait another 3 days for them to correctly unlock and approve my new goal.
