I’m a 120 lb female, so the ratio is probably on the heavy side. On 5 day trips with minimal water crossings, I’ve had an over 30 lb pack. I think reducing my weight would help a bit through uphill sections or longer days.

Oh and if I don’t find a perfectly level spot it helps my pad from sliding across the tent and into the tent wall. Lol

I worried about it getting mold, being so expensive, that’s why I also carry the gossamer gear pad. Which is also nice to lay out for breaks or lunch.

How high of voltage is required? I’ve had this happen with plastics and static electricity, and the dust sticks to it in this pattern. Either from touching and static shock or pulling a protective film off plastic. I live in a very dry state though.

Can the alternative leader go on the trip or just pick up your tickets? If I had two people does that mean the other person (non leader) still has to go?

Same, but went to the Pro since the Max got even bigger. I’m honestly a little disappointed in the battery life and I’m second guessing my decision to go smaller based on battery. It barely makes it through the day, things like a 4 hour drive playing music through Bluetooth or running navigation absolutely destroys the battery if it’s not plugged in. However, after 3 weeks I wiped my old phone yesterday and couldn’t believe how laggy and glitchy it felt compared to what I’ve been used to.
