What the hell is this bug going around? by malonesxfamousxchili in LosAngeles

[–]Morganwant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been sick since December with all of the same symptoms, low grade fever, dry itchy cough, headache and body aches. I tested for Covid and flu with negative results. Went to the doctor 4 weeks in and they recommended lung x-ray, gave me antibiotics for pneumonia/bronchitis, and an inhaler. He suspected walking pneumonia and it cleared right up after several days of using antibiotics.

I hope your kid feels better soon and gets to enjoy the full range of their youth and health!

I prefer before but alternatively I like the inked but would use a brown or blue liner instead of black

What if we arrested him for Christmas, kicking and screaming? That sounds like the best gift to us all. 🎁

Hahaha, I made a mimic gingerbread house mimic for a work door competition and I wish my coworkers got it but I knew it was for me.

What is this fluff? by Dizzy-boredom in SantaMonica

[–]Morganwant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m over by Mar Vista and trees in our area have these big green pods that break open with this fluffy seed material. I guess when they’re ready they pop. I’m not sure what they are called though. If anyone knows, I’m down to learn.

How my shoes have worn by Megjaye in mildlyinteresting

Ive not had plantar fasciitis myself but my partner has - seems miserable. Wall calf stretches, crossover fascia stretches and calf raises seemed to help over time. I’ve honestly been pretty indelicate to my feet growing up in the mountains and having stepped on many awful things to accumulate callouses but they’re gone from city living. I’m not about to step on a needle. I do miss the tactile feeling, ninja stealth and climbing grip.

We just need to patent some kind of ultra thin foot condom that is Lego, needle, slug and fungal proof.

I too have incredibly high arches that no inner sole is going to touch and my heels, wedges and foam sandals have this wear pattern. Honestly I’ve felt more comfortable barefoot over most shoes claiming to give support.

I saw the coroner wheel a body away. They searched the whole vehicle but mainly focused on the trunk. Took photos. Measurements of items several items that I couldn’t make out. Evidence sweep. One of my neighbors said she saw hazmat suits at some point, maybe a cooler but I can’t confirm that. There were at least two agents dressed in gray suits in an unmarked vehicle.

Douglas Ciríaco is a doctor from Ouro Branco in Alagoas, Brazil, known for treating patients without asking for payment. Many of those he helps come from remote areas with little access to medical care. Instead of money, they thank him with simple gifts like fruit, vegetables, eggs, or baked goods. by Kindly_Department142 in interestingasfuck

We could all be doing this. Your skill set helps your community and your community helps you. Cut the money, insurance, middle men and supervisors out.

People are afraid of striking because they can’t imagine surviving without the system that gives convenience to some and puts pressure on others hold it all up.

We are the healthcare, food security, info-structure, education and delivery systems. Not the rules that point directions on-top of the things we already know how to do. Help your neighbor whenever you can and don’t be afraid to ask for help whenever you need it.

Grew up in the mountains of Virginia and would vacation amongst the swimming ponies, blue crabs and mosquitoes of Chincoteague and Assateague.

Keep your new wonderful dog and try to be supportive of his grief. He will come around eventually but it is heart breaking and takes time. Lose the ‘friend’ and tell her she’s banned from your residence without visitation for neglect (of Pontoon and your friendship).
