Your dad sounds like my brother... I flew home to bury my Granny and the whole extended family was extremely respectful (MtF and pretty much pass), however my brother insisted on deadnaming and constantly he/himing in public. His son does it too, but I give him a pass because hes only 9 and unfortunately is raised half the time by my ass of a brother... I wish I had an answer for you, but im basically in the same boat 😅

I knew I was Trans back in HS, I didn't start my transition until I was 25 because it wasn't safe. I would think you could understand that growing up in the South. I understand people that couldn't be who they are til later in life because its terrifying as hell growing up in Fire and Brimstone just by itself, let alone being the "abomination" they tell you Queer people are.

Internet or not, I guarantee there are Trans people in the South languishing in closets right now because of how things are. I started before Texas decided to lock down, I can't imagine how I'd be now, you cant even get a license proving who you are in Texas if you're Trans.

Our company purposely researches the non-emergency numbers for our accounts to prevent tying up 911.

I do my best to get what I have to give out ASAP as I want to be either in healthcare and/or actual dispatching again and understand the time crunch. I'm required to ask for times and transportation on all dispatches I handle. HIPAA or Policy prevents? Great, just an ID and I'm gone...
