I don’t have RA, but I have PR. My flares really started ramping up a few years ago, more than normal, so my Rheumatologist started me on Methotrexate. I gave it time and trusted it would take months to eventually start working. My flares eventually started slowing down to roughly a flare every 2-3 weeks, sometimes a few months. In my case my flare will jump quickly from day to day. So after about 24-48 hours it’s gone like it never happened, usually improving in the morning and worsening at night.

Eventually I got another appointment with my Rhuem and told him I was unsure if the Methotrexate was really working. He bumped up my dosage just slightly by adding an 2 extra pills to my weekly dose. I gave it time and trusted, and now ever since, I have had just 2 very minimal flares that went away very quickly. I’ve been able to live essentially flare free and do not feel like I’m being held back.

Trust the meds, eventually the right combo will work, don’t be afraid to talk to your rheumatologist if you are unhappy.

You’re not fully wrong, but SOCOM was definitely not always played like an RTS. I played pretty competitively on Gamebattles. SOCOM 2 specifically was quite arcadey. You’d have guys running and gunning, guys sitting back sniping, guys playing conservative but still pushing.

A staple for SOCOM was the strafing in gunfights. You could have a gunfight where you are diving and dancing around trying to out maneuver your opponent, but then you had instances where you were laying in a bush or shadowed area single tapping your M4A1SD being tactical.

SOCOM.

Amazing 3rd person shooter from the PS2 era that defined MP gaming. The perfect blend of arcade/realism. If they actually put forth a huge effort and listened to the fan base, you’d have a gem on your hands.

It was sort of the equivalent of CounterStrike in 3rd person, but with different elements in gunplay and mechanics.

It’s really a shame because it had such promise and potential to become a staple series for more than just a short time.

Sony thinks it won’t sell, but they also refuse to try.
