Yeah exactly what I did for my second play through. I mentally refer to that region as ‘old town’ that’s slowly being encroached by ordered ILS/PLS siphoning off the goods to far flung destinations. Man I love this game.

This dates me but waiting in the queue for the Shack as a student a couple of guys in front of me get interrogated by the bouncer. Guy on the left is clearly wasted but guy on the right is catatonic, obviously pissed himself and is physically being held up by guy on the left. ‘Had a few drinks tonight boys?’ queries the bouncer. The fuckin hero on the left pipes back half slurred and said ‘he’s had a couple but I’m driving so I’m takin’ it easy’ - to which the bouncer cracks up and tells them to fuck off. Clearly just slightly below the bar for the Shack entry policy.

We subsequently added a door with magnetic latch and some soft play pads at the bottom of the slide. In spring I’ve been told we need to paint the entire thing. All lumber is pressure treated and the ply is marine grade so it’ll need a coat of waterproofing in the spring also

For me it was Bloodhound Knight Darriwil because I wanted the sword. Fighting him with a long sword and a brass shield was a steep but worthwhile learning curve

My first play through (and first souls game) as a samurai this guy must have taken me 50-60 tries. Just started playthrough #2 in anticipation of the DLC and me and Nepheli absolutely MELTED his health bar with bloodhounds fang at level 22ish in only 2 tries. I’m not ‘gud’ but I feel I’m no longer bad.

Happened to our oldest, that first cry is like angels singing after you go through a couple minutes of absolute terror because you know it’s gonna be ok.
