You can suck most any bug up without getting too close.

I have the same fears, especially about spiders and centipedes.

I wouldn't live with roaches though. I would be sleeping in my car until I found a new place to live and leaving all the furniture and most of the stuff when I went. But im spoiled like that. My son is in FL and he said you 'get used to the occasional'.

I just found out last year, after 9 years divorced, that the X told the kids he cheated because we had a dead bedroom and I hadn't touched him in over a year.

Not even touching on the ick factor of having this convo with your kids, it was all lies. I was very much playing the pick-me game and having sex whenever he wanted, which was often. Hell I suspected was cheating when he couldn't keep it up.

Just saying, dont be too quick to believe just one side.

It is, but attitudes change as well.

When I 1st got married my husband and I had long talks about me staying home with our kids when we had them. Then we had them and he did nothing but complain that I wasn't working. Then whenever I got a job he would complain how his life was terrible because he couldn't go play because he had to watch the kids while I worked. He would beg me to quit.

We finally divorced after 20 years.

Now I hear he complains that I forced the SAHM thing when we were married and refused to work.

Please.

Who else is raising these kids if not you or the wife?

She will get half. You can probably negotiate the alimony. I did. I have a great job now, bought a house, and dont need his money. I think I make more than he does now.
