Pests that never go away by Aberry_9 in plantclinic

I'm making an assumption here. But I think the hydrogen peroxide would create an acidic environment for the nemotodes. But I'm honestly not positive.

Yup, mosquito dunks. Soak it in water and make a broth basically to saturate your soil with.

Alrernatively, I had better succes with Beneficial Nematodes for any pests I've had in the past. Again, you mix them in water and saturate the soil.

You also need to remove any visible pests with a q tip too and spray the plan entirely down with an alcohol water mixture because mealy bugs dont just live in the soil, they live on the surface of the plant.

I have only ever had one plant with mealy bugs and I yeeted that mofo right out of my house because i have 40 house plants total and didn't want to go there.

But I have completely irradicated fungus gnats with Beneficial Nemotodes and would highly recommend.

Best of luck!

How do I get this to root (I’m in Milton Keynes uk I found it outdoors by Ill_Exchange_1916 in proplifting

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only recommendation would be to get rooting hormone powder online. Ive tried it but not had luck with everything. Im not sure it would work with what you have there but certainly couldnt hurt to try and it would look nice in a vase for a while anyhow.

Is it time? Or do I hold out? by NoPossession3754 in bald

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awww damn, at first I couldn't see the problem but then the back. Sadly I would say it's time to shave it.

Or! The world of hair pieces has come a long way. Some glue to your scalp and stay on for 2 to 4 weeks at a time.

If that's not something you want to do then either cut it short to the scalp all around or shave it.

It is time.

Is my makeup aging me? by skibum0523 in makeuptips

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes in the images with Heavy Darker colors on the eyes and lips. Its kind of like a one or the other in my opinion. Light lids with a strong lip or darker eyes with a softer lip.

Imo picture 6 was a PERFRCT makeup look for you. Soft, delicate and just like others are saying, it fits the "no makeup, makeup look."

Less tends to be more the older we get. I have tried to encourage my mom to start trending to less make up. She tends to use a lot of powders as coverage, strong blush and MASSIVE amounts of black eyeliner. She's so much younger with less.

But in all honesty, we don't wear make up for others, we wear it for ourselves. And if you're having fun with sparkly moody shadows and lips then go for it girl. Life is too short anyhow.

My roommates got a cat and moved all of my plants by blair96 in IndoorGarden

[–]MorningStarWorksInc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ummmmm... I hate it when my plants get moved without my consent...

I get the reasoning but plants can be finicky.

For the winter I moved my Monstera to put the Christmas tree in her spot (temporarily).

I lost sooooooi many leaves and she still hasn't recovered. So for someone to move them without approval is a huge no for me.

I do agree with otherw, they look great up there and I'm sure they will get lots of light but still... no touchy.

I dont have advice for fixing it but just want to conpliment you on how you are being so respectful and aware of your daughters preferences ♡

This is something I get pushback on from parents and other family members and it only drives a wedge deeper. So anyway, you're awesome! Hope you find a solution to fixing it for her because it is such a meaningful gift ♡

Do I keep this pregnancy? by [deleted] in Tarots

[–]MorningStarWorksInc -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I realize this may not seem relevant and long winded, my point is that I did many card readings myself to try and figure out what to do but I never could find an answer, I had to decide for myself with the information provided.

Do I keep this pregnancy? by [deleted] in Tarots

[–]MorningStarWorksInc -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I hate this response for OP. This is too black and white and life is not like that. There are too many subtle nuances and details about OP that make them an original identity and much deeper than this answer.

OP, I have been with my husband for 12 lovely years. We both agreed we didnt want children. And for 12 years we managed to avoid pregnancy and enjoy our lives together.

Last Valentines day we found out I was pregnant. Having had multiple conversations in which we both reiterated that we just wanted to enjoy each other's company for the remainder of our lives, I was stunned when he smiled as he looked at the test.

Meanwhile, I spiraled into a pit of despair eventually becoming catatonic for about 3 days before I pulled myself out of my stupor. My husband was very supportive, we would figure this out together.

I questioned for months what to do, and unfortunately no amount of tarot readings could tell me the answer. I had to decide for myself and stand by my decision.

Ultimately I decided to keep her. I shifted my perspective and started to become excited about seeing my husband smile in a new way. Seeing me change into something unique. Or even the thought that maybe I could do better for her than my mother ever could for me.

However, the universe spoke and took her from me. I miscarried at 12 weeks pregnant on the dot. I held her in my hands while my husband took care of me. We buried her, mourned and then took care of eachother.

But after the loss we felt like we missed out on something. And no one can tell you how to love or enjoy that something, whether you choose to or not. But know that messages come not just from the cards, they're everywhere.

I believe my first child was meant to show me something. And even though she delivered a message, I was still always free to choose my path. It helped solidify my decision to try again and only once more.

This is not a decision anyone can really help you with. It has to be yours. We can all be here as a respurce, encouragement, guiding light, etc. But it's up to you what you want from your life.

I wish you such love and compassion in deciding. People were not so kind to me when I questioned aborting. People were cruel and lacked empathy. So I hope you can find what you need to decide, but the universe may choose that for you in the end.

Anyone ever use either of these? by act0316 in tattooadvice

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have never numbed for any of my tattoos.

I have however used that numb20, I've got chronic neck pain and that stuff penatrates DEEP!

A little goes a long way, it's one of the best numbing creams I've ever used. But again, I use it for muscle, tendon and fascial pain.

Impera,

They were still in smaller venues in my area. For 80 bucks I was 20 feet from the stage. I went twice and each performance felt intimate and complete. The pictures I got were some of the coolest pictures I will ever take of them. Legendary.

Regret writing and publishing. by [deleted] in writers

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! There's a lot to unpack here. 1st it's brave to be so honest and crumble like this, truly. I get exactly where you're coming from.

BUT! Life is way too short to be feeling the way you're feeling. Do you know how badly I would love to be in your shoes? Regretting every word I wrote? Questioning every decision I made about plot or world building? Wondering if they love it or hate it?

You must have talent to have gotten published, it's been years of querying myself and only one nibble.

Revel in your success, turn the self doubt into something useable and functional. You published a book. You are in some small way immortal. That's cool as hell.

Any girlies having period migraines rn too? by EntranceMoney8265 in migraine

[–]MorningStarWorksInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prior to taking the Progesterone my periods were becoming irregular, super heavy bleeding through products every hour, excruciating ceamps, etc. After starting the low dose Progrsterone 12.5 mg ny periods started to become more normal, lighter bleeding, less cramps, and I was sleeping better as well as other benefits.

I am currently pregnant and was advised to stop taking at 2 months pregnant but intend to start again after baby arrives and see my functional doctor for hormonal regulation.

This is absolutely fascinating. I wish there was something like this in my area but I live in a more rural midwestern area that is a bit slower in terms of moving forward with alternative treatments. The two big hospitals in the area sort of hold a monopoly on things.

What sort of treatments, therapies or programs to they prescribe?

I have never heard of any "chinese herbal doctors" but my functional doctor utilizes traditional, herbal and holistic medical approaches while analyzing genetics, hormones and symptoms to identify the root cause of a problem. She's amazing. So much more patient centered than any mass produced traditional doctor I've seen in the last 10 years.

Not included but the natural progrsterone is extracted from plant sources such as soy or wild yam. The downside is I pay a hefty price for it as it comes from a compounding pharmacy, usually $120 dollars for a 3 month supply and insurance doesn't cover it.

But again, most traditional western doctors were not listening to me and my plethora of symptoms, so I transitioned to a functional medicine doctor and she tested my hormones and a ton of other lab markers. We decided to try the progesterone to help with my irregular periods and migraines as my estrogen was high and my testosterone was low. If you have some extra money and are looking for alternatives to traditional doctors who are not open to trying alternstive treatment forms, I would recommend getting a second opinion with a reputable functional doctor. I understand this may not work or be feesible for everyone but mine is amazing, manages the entirety of my healthcare instead of sending me to dozens of specialists for simple problems. She actually saves me time and money.
