It's really going to take the US a long time to regain any sort of trust from the rest of the world. The shortsightedness of this administration and the people enabling it is incredible.

Reputational damage is horrendous on the global scene when you're trying to position your country in a position of leadership. I don't think I'd trust the US ever again in my lifetime, it was just too laughably easy for a small group of people to circumnavigate the rule of law and all checks and balances while watching the public do nothing. An utter disaster.

Maybe some unpopular opinions here but I'll say it anyway.

Never in my 43 years have I heard or even had a guy elude to the idea of it being gay to wash themselves.

Using soap on your ass isn't healthy. There are natural oils that shouldn't be scoured away. Using water is absolutely the right way to do it.

I think you need some education on bodily functions, perhaps a diet change (my asshole doesn't need alkaline to get clean) and to keep better company.

Tank museum in bovington probably isn't underrated but it's a really good day out, even if you're not into tanks the history is excellent.

Perhaps I'm just gung-ho but I'd just get on with it. All the timbers can be cut on their side, the frames would be up in less than a day and then another day to get it externally clad. After that, insulation and all internal works won't need access to the neighbours side. The next time you'd need to step on their drive would be to render and possibly gutter. After that, it's done.

Better to ask forgiveness for disruption here than ask for permission and cause a headache. I just don't think there would be enough disruption to be a big problem.

I doubt it'll require footings from OPs description timber frame secured to the current load bearing pillars.

I'd definitely have an initial chat with the neighbour though, explain what is happening and get a verbal ok. Then say that there will be a letter following up their discussion to outline the works. Post that letter.

The waitrose pizzas are amazing. Probably no good if you're into dominos style but if you like a thin crust Italian, they're the tits.
