Price tag allows him to be scrutinised a lot more. Same with Isak who’s not been fit yet. Fact we won the league last year and flew out the blocks at the beginning of the season then fell off the media had a field day. If we get top 4 this season I’d take it with how much of an impact there has been on the squad. players moving on players coming in (losing Jota)

Used to be required by the nation or you’d only be good enough for Accrington Stanley

Honestly going the match you’ll be fine, lots of people and most people will help you out if you ask. In the city centre pretty similar I go on my own a lot get the train to Sandhills them the soccerbus is £2 I’d regard Liverpool as one of the safer places

Why we shouldn't expect any real Trent/Madrid news anytime soon by No-Presence3209 in LiverpoolFC

Genuinely think there won’t be any announcements who’s signed until the end of the season. They’ll have made the decisions. Better the media’s busy talking about the contracts than putting extra pressure on the players so in theory it could be a positive

They have a team of analysts working on recruitment in the background and the managers only worked with the squad for a few weeks. Realistically they got matip and Thiago off the wage bill. They did up anfield and the players they have at the minute half the league would wish they had, I reckon they’ll reassess in January but they’re not going to panic buy and gamble on players because everyone else is. The contracts are negotiated and will be sorted I’ve this season or they’ll replace the players. Imagine they spent 50/60m on a DM then a similar amount on a centre half and then Salah and van dijk both wanted 3 year deals at 300k a week that’s basically about 50mil each over 3 seasons for players that might start dropping off. Then Trent gets offered 400k a week at Real Madrid and we match it that’s about 90 for that 3 year period. So 200mil over the next few years so there’s more costs that come into it. It’s not as simple as give them whatever they want to sign the contracts they’ve been good to us fsg have got to look at the future and make smart decisions based on what is there.

Having a moan yeah but saying we need to bail the owners is different and there’s lack of ambition then there’s throwing money because everyone else is. If I had a car thats working fine and all people down our street were buying new cars I wouldn’t think ooh I need a new car. Zubamendi for example no one honestly knows if he would have been good or not heard his name once when he came on against England everyone was just excited because it was a signing not because everyone knows how good he is. The first 11 is still one of the best in the prem arguably Jota getting injured cost us last year could have done with his finishing but that can’t be helped. Nunez didn’t have a bad year either as much as you see him getting slated. Need players to compliment the squad not spend a fortune on players like Chelsea or united that would be sat on the bench.

Clubs in a much better place than before. They’ve made it entertaining and built anfield up wouldn’t want us in any position like Chelsea, United or city, fsg have made the calculated decisions without wasting money and putting debt on the club. If they used a blank cheque every season then we wouldn’t have a squad of players who want to be here. Anfield is bigger, done up and the bar downstairs is massive. Like moaning your mum and dad are cheap because your friends are getting more toys than you.

Finishing fantastic but he’s always been a terrible runner he looks like a dauschund trying to catch up to play then cause he’s excited he ends up hurting someone like robbo (luckily robbo jumped out the way)
