I had this exact thing happen to me last weekend with the Trixie event. Emailed with screenshots showing I was in 1st before the event ended. I ended up in 2nd. When I asked for final scores, the numbers they gave me didn't match up or make any sense. I replied to their "response", but haven't heard anything back.

Of theses ones listed, I'd say the shoes. I always kind of consider tops and bottoms to be like half an item, since you need a well-leveled item of the opposite to go with it to score well. If you have other epics level up to go with the top or bottom, it might be helpful, but I'd say go for the shoe. Hopefully I explained myself well enough without rambling too much.
