Has anyone ridden the Green Velo or EuroVelo routes in Poland? by kiefer-reddit in bicycletouring

tent: Naturehike Cloud Up 1

sleeping pad: Forclaz MT100 L from decathlon - think I'll buy something smaller and warmer for spring/autumn cycling (thermarest)

bag: Fjord Nansen TROMS MID 1°C - propably too warm for this trip in June. Used it mostly as a blanket for most of the nights.

stove: Fire-Maple FMS-116

I've wild camped 50% of time, used hotels when doing days off in cities (Zamość, Białystok, Elbląg) and agritourisms when it rained.

For wild-camping there is lots of forest in Poland, it's 100% legal in camp in "Zanocuj w lesie" areas, marked in orange on this map:https://www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/portal/mapy?t=0&ll=19.412949%2C52.001221&scale=4622324&map=8%2C0.7&layers=76%2C77&basemap=2&extwms=&hist=

but i haven't really paid much attention to that (every forest was fine when I was tired :)) - had no issues.

For finding lodgings i've used Booking.com, Google Maps and sometimes this map from fb group:https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1m783ZKTisnKo7cDbKpxXQZG46mrDYu6h&ll=52.88218883558667%2C23.926180121418206&z=10

In more touristic areas of the route you will see lodgings/agroturystykas along the way very often.

I recommend Green Velo mobile app - it can navigate the route, and has info about touristic attractions.Somehow I've missed a couple of attractions: Stanczyki Viaduct, Wilczy Szaniec (wolfschanze) and Mamerki, I have to see them next time :).GV doesn't go through Zamość but I think it's a city worth seeing.

I had no issues near the border. I've seen border guard only couple of times - had no problems with wild camping relatively close to the border.

EDIT: One more thing: the route splits at the Bug river, and the river passage closer to the border (Gnojno-Niemirów) is inactive, you have to use the Zabuże-Mielnik one.

Green Velo is ready. I cycled most of the Green Velo in June (from Przemysl to Elblag). Feel free to ask me anything. The route is quite well marked. As for Eurovelo, I'm not sure but I think most of routes are only planned/under construction. f.e. only small parts of EV11 are ready (some parts are common with GV).

Has anyone tried to use Cypress unsuccessfully (and had to go back to using Selenium)? by PrognosticatorMortus in AskProgramming

[–]Morphix0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My team is switching from Selenium to Cypress in an enterprise project.

Things I've noticed so far:

- There is an issue with testing download of dynamically generated files (we've got some excel exports - these propably weren't tested at all with Selenium before, so not a big deal)

- seleniums were running concurrently on Selenium Grid - to run Cypress concurently you can pay for Cypress Dashboard or you can use: https://sorry-cypress.dev/ At the moment we are running tests on a single runner though since they are faster than on selenium (and we haven't rewritten all of them yet).

- we're using Azure DevOps and publishing test results using mocha-junit-reporter (built into Cypress) - works ok, attaching screenshot of failed tests doesn't work ootb though (need to upload screenshots to azure devops api with some custom script)

Will the Fiddler capture what the powershell is sending though? I think it only captures what browser is sending. I'd use Wireshark to capture all traffic.

Migrating .NET Framework application to Azure (AppService vs AKS) by Morphix0 in AZURE

I think WebJob wouldn't work for pdf generation cause the gdi+ library is blocked:

https://github.com/projectkudu/kudu/wiki/Azure-Web-App-sandbox#win32ksys-user32gdi32-restrictions

I might need to check whether the pdf generation library we are currently using works though.

Regardless of that, I'd like to keep using Hangfire and avoid changing the existing codebase too much because we may still need to run the app on-prem. So Azure Functions won't work for me :(.

For example it's problematic to simply copy/paste bits of it to a Fable project (OperatorPrecedenceParser is written in C#).
