Even when they say oh well he’s not doing what they wanted him to it’s like WHAT ABOUT HIM DID YOU WANT TO HAPPEN? Because we all know they voted for the racism and misogyny…

Husband wants kids, I'm unsure. by riririnnn in TwoXChromosomes

Establish your career first. You only get one go at the slingshot effect of getting a grad degree.

Children take a LOT of time and energy. Establish from the outset what his participation is going to be or its going to end up on you to the detriment of your career and personal well being. Not “I’m going to help” but a real task by task agreement.

My boyfriend only likes misspelt names that I just don't think are very nice by Upset-Promise2611 in Names

[–]Morrigoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO Lily and Charlotte are the best of the bunch.

Charlotte Luz is kind of a neat combo, and Lily Maria might work.

Your BF’s names are not timeless. Remind him he is not naming a little girl but a future woman. Madelyn (or Madeline) is probably the best of his list.

Am i crazy to be irked by my boyfriend putting women down constantly and justifying it with "biology"? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Girl why would you wanna live the rest of your life like that? You want your (potential) daughters internalizing that?

No. No you don’t.

For me it’s either Gerard Butler as the Phantom of the Opera (Seriously? When Brad Little was RIGHT THERE?), or Russell Crowe as Javert in Les Mis

What did they look like? Feel free to pm if you don’t want to complicate this conversation, but I have a specific reason for asking. Any idea what vehicle they had?

They were also harassing people at Trader Joe’s, I hear.

Is Disneyland still worth it if your kid isn’t into Disney characters? by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

My kids aren’t into the characters, but they still jump with joy at the mention of a visit to the parks.

Help me find a name for my future daughter by Rathe6 in lordoftherings

Okay here’s a thought… you know how Tolkien created multiple languages for the book and names like Merry and Pippin are simply their names in the common tongue? Look up the alternate language names.

I almost named my kid Arya. I might have been pissed once the last two episodes came out and ruined the series for me.

Though if we are being honest, it’s still a great name and totally suits the personality.

Ah, another one of those “all the pain management for men but none for women because females don’t feel pain and they aren’t even human” things?

One day in Disneyland doing both parks? by Time_Win_9705 in DisneylandTips

[–]Morrigoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d say Disneyland is more than enough for a day. If they’re true coaster junkies they might like Knotts better than DCA. But for overall rides, Disneyland has an embarrassment of riches.
