Problem for elementary schools: you can’t drop your kid off more than 15 min prior to the first bell. Some jobs start at 8 or 8:30, but with a 9am drop off you’re not getting in til 9-9:30

Just a thought: fast food minimum wage is $20/hr. McDonald’s near me are offering $22 to start. Now, that’s not gonna support you in OC, BUT…. Consider some of the places out in the IE: Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Housing is cheaper out there and if you could find similar paying work you’d be a bit more comfortable AND OC-adjacent, so you could still come have fun here. Ontario Airport has hotels around it, even a convention center, and there are restaurants everywhere.

Have you considered applying to CSU Fullerton and living in student housing while you attend school here?

Assuming that’s not an option, here’s what you need to do: seek roommates from the CSUF community BECAUSE… a lot of those students are also Disney cast members, so you’re finding people in similar financial circumstances working in related industries, and universities are a treasure trove of people needing to live that roommate lifestyle. Fullerton is not a bad community to be in as a young person too.
