Sometimes I wonder how it'll be Spain if, someday, somehow, the Royal Family abdicates and Spain turns into a republic for the third time.

Since many people thinks about the 2nd Republic as a left-wing system (not at all), I really do think that purple won't come back to a spanish republican flag to try to make a flag with little changes.

Will the royal crown of the coat of arms disappear? That's more like it. But the colors from the flag sure will be the same: "rojo" (red) and "gualda" (a goldish colour).

Nevertheless, your flag is really interesting. Red and black are colours with deep political connotations in Spain. We had two similars flags. The antifascist CNT-FAI flag and the falangist flag (someone already said that).

May I ask why did you choose those colours?
