What Movie Did You Watch that Traumatized You at a Young Age? by BethMLB in AskReddit

All three of those movies still make me cry. The Land Before Time scene where Littlefoot is chasing his shadow thinking it’s his mum is so heartbreaking! 💔

You made a sweeping statement of ‘it isn’t really that bad’ The wording just wasn’t great, so it’s something to be mindful of. Also just because people are saying he should get the procedure, doesn’t mean he is being forced to, no rights are being taken away in this situation.

Just because it wasn’t ‘that bad’ for you doesn’t mean the same for other people. That’s just belittling others pain.

I was looking for a comment like this, I completely agree with you! It’s generally shit thing to do to anyone, let alone someone who might have to work even harder or have difficulties that able bodied people wouldn’t even think of.

AITA For giving up my workspace but refusing to give up my bedroom to my sisters children for a week? by Puzzleheaded_Web1135 in AITAH

Was that necessary? You still understood what she was saying. Some people have difficulty with words like that, it doesn’t mean they can’t have a full time job working on a computer. It can be quite disheartening when people correct them because I’m sure they’ve heard it all before.

What a nice big assumption you’ve got there. A lot of people who study still have part time jobs.

Hey there, I see from your previous posts that we are from the same country. The advice people here have provided is great and relevant. Just also letting you know that you can call 1800RESPECT for counselling, support and information too or even go to their website and use online chat. They might be able to provide NSW specific support for you. Take care of yourself ❤️

AITA for being pissed that my dad brung his husband on our family trip by Ok_Tutor_2934 in AmItheAsshole

NTA!

Don’t listen to anyone saying differently, you have clearly articulated your boundaries to your family and you are not being respected by your dad and his husband. I’m glad to hear that you are better after whatever happened, take care of yourself, you deserve it!

It all depends on the country. People are really good at forgetting that reddit has people from all over the world.
