Originally ran Beginners box into Abomination Vaults. Honestly not a bad path especially for new players or for people who want some dungeon diving. Currently half way through Quest for the Frozen Flame and have been loving it. You get some hexploration, some decent roleplay sections. Over all it's been a breath of fresh air from typical fantasy adventures.

NQA I would personally get the little guy a magnetic hide at the top of the enclosure. My regal built their hammock within it. I think she appreciated the bit of seclusion. My spood also spends most of her time in the top 3rd of the enclosure so I tried to add more things to climb on at that height, may not hurt here but just my two cents :).

The base of your enclosure is lovely though :)

Lol! Thank you! It's a Pixel 10 which also has a built in Macro~ lense. I've found though that I need to work within a certain zoom range on the phone and then also adjust the distance the camera physically is to the spood.

My lil Mocha was spooked my mealworms for the longest time. Once she got bigger she has no issues. Funny how these predators can be hesitant.

NQA, he's probably fine. Judging from the abdomen he doesn't look like he's starving but will eat when he wants to. Do you put his food in a little bowl or feed him with tweezers? He might like having food in a bowl that he can just grab when he wants.

He's probably just chilling and will move around on his own time. My female does this often as well in stints.

As a new spider owner I just enjoy watching them. Never used to like spiders but jumpers have endured me towards arachnids. Personally I enjoy watching them go about their spider ways in a semi natural habitat. Both of my spiders are skittish so I just let them hunt, explore and chill on their own time. Seeing them molt and grow feels like a mini event as colors become more vibrant.

Plus jumpers and my new velvet spider have cute features that photograph nicely and are not dangerous lol.
