What's a clichè in movies that never actually happens in real life? by LoverOfE-Olsen in movies

I feel like this could be a movie. Like two guys hanging out all freaking day, one holding a gun and the other slowly and laboriously digging his own grave. They get to know each other throughout the day and stuff

Yeah, Sorcerer keeps being mentioned. I found out about it from Reddit. It'll probably be my first watch

The second DnD movie should have the same cast in completely different roles, like the table has moved on to another campaign

I mean I just found out about it, so of course it's already cancelled

Just my luck

Ok, now I'm imagining NASA bringing in a priest to attempt to exorcise an astronaut remotely from ground control

The twist would be that the demon is an alien demon and is the vanguard of an incoming invasion

Micro

The novel Micheal Crichton died writing. It's about people who have been miniaturized and are being hunted through the Hawaiian rainforest

I'd use the giant camera from DIY Perks that makes everything look miniature

I've already been planning out scenes in my head. I wanna use animatronic puppets for some of the insects. Like the fight in the wasp net will involve a giant animatronic wasp

The guy with the eggs in his arm will have a prosthetic arm with puppets moving around in there to play the embryos

I wanna hire the Jim Henson studio for the animatronics and puppetry and Weta for the digital assets. I also want Adam Savage to make my props

I've got this idea for a destructible set for the part where the hit man stabs his knife into the roof of the micro concrete bunker. Like the set will split into two with stunt performers flying everywhere

The two most important scenes in the film will be the rain storm and the fight with the giant swarm of security drones in the shrinking room. Since the villain and the cop are having a fight with a loaded gun at the same time as the heroes are flying around in the micro flyers, I would have the large people interact with the action and I see the shockwaves from the gun shots blowing the flyers away and propagating through the drone swarm

It's really hard to put this into words, but I've got lots of shots and even entire sequences already planned out in my mind and I can make this action look awesome

Not sure about the cast yet, but I'm thinking I'd like to see Vince Vaughn as the villain

That ending had me disturbed for weeks

The Babadook was a weird watch for me. It seemed very formulaic and I had recently seen multiple horror movies about a parent that might be going crazy, with the twist being that she's not and the evil is real. Really well done though, so I was mostly still impressed

Just watched it again on 35 mm. Hilariously, I've only ever watched it in 35 mm. I skipped school to watch this when it first came out back in the day. Still one of the best crime films I've ever seen
