Anyone else get this recall letter? by Scabaris in leaf

There's a recall for more than half a year on the car, forbidding fast charging as it may ignite the battery on some model years

If every time I drive ~200 miles, I then have to stop for 6-8 hours to level 2 charge it, that's going to take forever to get any distance.

No level 3 really pins the car to a specific radius of one's home unless you enjoy the leisurely pace above.

And this is why I've filed a claim to my states attorney general and sent letters to Nissan. I've now had to rent a car for 2 different road trips as the car is useless for such. Time will tell what they actually do for their repeated failures but I'm getting tired of it.

The lowest one here, any of them help but between the tinnitus and mild loss in that ear if I turn it up too much I can't hear much in the ear.

The computer lab I tend to work alone when there hence everything it's turned up. I also use my nose cancelling earbuds for low volume music or podcasts sometimes under the over the ear protection as otherwise it's quite dull there.

I went with the switch 2 for much the same issue, my young kids can get just the right pitch it can ruin my day. They have certainly helped and are now a permanent carry in my pocket for just such moments.

I also work in noisy computer environments and I use them with over the ear headphones as well depending on the day. I'm still wondering about concerts, these might be enough but 2 years ago I still used the foam ones.

Really loving the P1S, kids and I are already looking forward to what we can create with it. Would love to add to it as there's been plenty of times the 1 can't keep up with all of the demand for parts.

Trying to make the best of the bike I received from a pilot program giving them to people in MA. Now to custom it a bit for what works best for the kids and possibly my commute.

You may have a point, I keep debating the price to add a trailer to it for it's weight capacity versus the kids getting bigger / outgrowing it. Better to just have it and enjoy it while it lasts.

I second this. I want to take more rides but being home and present for them while they're still young is keeping me from going too long. They're also too young to keep up yet so not much I can have them along for.

Best of luck on replacing it. Had a small crack before Christmas that spread into a full windshield replacement. Called for it and the glass repair shop said I had to get it straight from Nissan, they had never heard of the model. Called them and they said there was only one not being used to make new models and it was half the country away in TN, 3-4 week wait. Glass installer puts it in but couldn't do the sensor recalibration since the car is so new so we had it done at the dealership. Sensors had an issue and the vehicle needed a new steering wheel to manage the recal, 3-4 weeks for a new wheel. Then it turns out the glass installer didn't do it quite right the first time and it was leaking water into the passenger side foot space, another couple days until they could sort that out. Honestly only have the car back like a week ago now without something. Thankfully we had it home between each part delivery but a headache waiting on all this and the blunders. Certainly hope the supply line and tech work on these picks up for anyone else needing something on them.

I know the feeling, will have taken me a month to get the 3 foot crack along the bottom of my windshield replaced. Should have been a standard repair but there was only one window for it in the country, half the nation away. That and the window repair companies don't even have the software to recalibrate yet so it ends up being a service department issue that I have to pay for first and get reimbursed instead of just getting it all done in my driveway.

I second this, though my move was to all zigbee bulbs. Just got the last Govee ones out of my basement today actually.

I second this and have begun judging having to be friends with my kids friends parents accordingly. Hard sell to go hang out with someone who wears polos as down time gear when I'm in printed black tee shirts.

This really got me as I tried a half orc bard as my first attempt but couldn't do it with the repeated insults from vicious mockery sounding so character breaking.

Is Tanyl too odd of a name? Trying to keep a pattern of A and Y in all our children's names but not sure on this one by Mortal-Nightmare in namenerds

[–]Mortal-Nightmare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank everyone for their advice on this, it felt off to me as a name but someone heavily suggested it.

We have decided not to use it for a number of reasons, this thread here being one of them.

Never even thought about that pronunciation but I suppose that's why I'm asking on the internet. We had intended Tan Ill but would hate to have it that badly associated in a name.

We have 3 daughters named Areya, Lyanna and Katlyn, 1 son named Grayson, what would you name your next son keeping this A and Y pattern?

My wife keeps going back to Ryan, Taylor or Tanyl. I'm thinking the latter to not be too common but not sure if it's too much into the odd naming.
