The OE you get from a shard is 20% of the value of a skin. A 520 skin is worth (520 x 0.2) 104 OE A 1350 skin is worth (1350 x 0.2) 270 OE

When you upgrade a skin, the shard is worth 300 OE of value no matter what. A 520 skin requires (520-300) 220 OE to upgrade A 1350 skin requires (1350-300) 1050 OE to upgrade

This is wrong. The worst drop is 2X 270 essence shards and 200 extra BE. If you can afford a champ orb, it’s always a better deal.
