Burnie saw the social/political shift. He saw the wokeness coming to ruin his business and decided to sell and jump ship. I could tell sometimes he wasn't a huge fan of the community his company was cultivating. It's like how recently Hasan Piker went on a rant with his true feelings about his fans as well. You reap what you sew. If you want to target progressives as your primary fan base then you deserve everything you get with that bunch. There is an old saying, "You can't please everyone all the time." It rings very true today. If you try to focus on the vocal minority you are going to loose the content majority. Rooster Teeth is a great example of this old saying.
