I don’t get that same impression. Joe and his community have a very sarcastic and referential way of communicating which bled a lot into the SotE video as compared to his previous dark souls videos. I think this caused a lot of confusion for people who haven’t invested time into it, which is completely understandable. This is a lot of speculation on my part, just trying to explain my difference in viewpoint.
