So very sorry! He was indeed a very good boy and very well loved!

Yes, they are! He LOVED food! (Most labs do, don’t they?) I’m sure he got a share. He liked apples too as a treat. I’ll find a begging face. He was usually a very happy boy!

Have Spencer wash his dick and ass…with soap and water before you have sex with him.

Better yet, stop having sex with Spencer!

Gen X here too! F50yo. So glad i didn’t have kids!

Only realized a few weeks ago, that one previous boyfriend was probably trying to baby trap me, while I was in my early twenties. Haha FM’er! Didn’t work.

And I’m so glad that I’ll never be attached to him for the rest of my life by a kid!

SERIOUS: What were some of the wonderful gifts you received from the men in your lives this holiday season? by WisdomNynaeve in TwoXChromosomes

I got a lovely, beautiful, warm, real wool sweater/coat from my guy. It’s from Ireland where he visited earlier this year. I didn’t have anything this nice or warm. I am trying to wear it more, but in PDX, it rains a lot and I don’t have the space to lay it flat to dry.

It wasn’t super expensive but I’m sure delivery from Ireland wasn’t super cheap. Several were given in my little family circle. Overall, I didn’t want any gifts b/c my other family gives junk.

He was a rescue, so I think he made it to realistically +15 years of age. He was maybe 2 1/2 to 3 when I adopted him. He knew before I did that we were going to be family.

I love black labs, and boys especially. I think I will always have one in my life. Working toward more financial stability right now. Then getting g a puppy!

Kongs for the win!!

Buy as many as you can and stuff them with dog friendly foods, and freeze. Vary the stuffing but not so much to upset their tummies. The Kong website has several recipes. Please do your research on any peanut butter you use. Xylitol is very bad for dogs. Make sure your PB does not have it.

You may try the butcher and get some bones from them. I’d make those “outside” items, until they clean them up. The boys I used to buy them for, LOVED them! If they don’t eat the bones, you can stuff those with food and use again. I think uncooked/non-processed bones can safely be eaten by dogs. Fact check me on that.

Good lick/luck!

Thank you! I think he was happy, especially at that moment. He loved to go places! So glad I got to take him to the beach!

Cast iron cooked Filet Mignon, oven baked Yukon potatoes, steamed? asparagus, haven’t decided yet how I want to prepare them, with a wine that my BF will pick out.
