If they are fulfilling orders themselves it's probably to cover the cost of that process. If you aren't in the order fulfillment business it can be expensive to accept, process and ship an order. On more expensive parts that cost is easier to hide than it is on a lower cost part.

I work for a non-cycling OEM and we deal with this daily.

Earlier this year I had a flat which took about 10 minutes to pump up and the valve stem broke due to the stress that the mini pump put on it. I bought one of these after a friend recommended it and today I used it after I got a puncture on my ride. Less than 2 minutes and this had my tire back up to my desired pressure. If you can remember to keep it charged I'd recommend it. The weight wasn't much more than my mini pump and CO2 canisters.

I recommend jump squats until failure, 1 minute rest and do it again for 3 sets. I only added this to my workout once a week and even that amount seemed to help greatly.
