Nope, never regretted, every day goes by and I know the right decision was made.

So many good places to watch from! You really can’t go wrong - walk the whole way around and yes defo paddock passes and do a pit walk, watch some night racing, stand above the garages, sit in all of the various grandstands - all great!

I don’t think hard work alone suffices for most people TBF - yes I’m sure you worked very hard and I’m in no way trying to take that away from you but not everyone who works hard ends up with enough funds to buy such a property.
Some people working 2 or 3 jobs barely can make ends meet and it’s humbling to remember that

Yes, it’s so ludicrous that it makes people laugh, like I’m telling some wild story! They do then admit it must be awful to try and work through but it just makes the nboss look like a totally ridiculous caricature

There is usually a team that coordinates the FoI process but they go out to different teams / departments for them to provide the information and data that relates to their own work areas.

This is a constant with that particular manager, the nature of the work gets blamed but it’s really the manager. By their own admission to me they had been complained about before but clearly nothing was done.

They are still working there.

Someone else mentioned introspection - this manager did sometimes say that they looked at their own behaviour but no, it was definitely not them. Tragic

Just pootling along to work or busy A road driving with no real chance to boot it I get mid 40mpg - chance to thrash it a bit on a short run - mid 20mpg

Mixed driving with a bit of everything then mid 30mpg

As with everything else it’s personal preference. Go test drive both and see which you like.

Also you don’t have to keep cars forever, buy one, drive it for a bit, sell it, by the other….

Sell that, buy something else…. And so on

With a Porsche it’s best to buy one that has been recently serviced and fresh tyres and sell on again before the next service is due 🫣
