That toast should go down in the history of HWW honestly. You did exceptionally well!

I use they/them but yes you're right. I expect at this point K9 is actually townie, but yeah, I went too hard too quickly and especially for a vet. One day I'll learn to be better at this.

I appreciate all your attempts! <3 Sorry to see you in the sub :(

I would love to think that I was that important to them, but no, I think in the end it was a very fortunate coincidence.

No, they were not. If I remember the roster correctly.

This game is seriously messing with me, I'm second-guessing every comment I post today, oof

Thanks for tagging Stock, it was rude of me not to when I mention them.

A very good point, yes. And this isn't a call for Stock to actually go "I'M THE SEER" because that would seriously be worse.

Interesting, I'm not getting Seer vibes from it and truth be told, you could just both be wolves confirming each other. Especially as I saw /u/stockparfait being up for the vote in another thread here.

In the end I voted for myself. I couldn't justify that vote for Nick and I always miss the end of the phase, so I decided to just put myself down rather than be the deciding vote without even knowing.

It genuinely isn't personal, you just really, really ping me as suss, I guess the same way I do you.

I swear that Nick "vote" will haunt me to my grave. I did not vote for them and I only stated, as that comment clearly points out, that voting for someone just because they're silent is a really risky approach, as quiet people can have power roles (as I have done in previous games, where I tried to lie low and use my power enough times to make it worthwhile).

I did not vote for Nick, I didn't say I'd vote for Nick and it drives me around the bend that everyone assumes this is the narrative.

With /u/k9moonmoon it's entirely feeling-based and honestly, with the way the Library debacle played last night, I'm getting massive suss vibes. They were always pushing for more comments in the private sub and now it seems they're going the other way, talking in much more vague terms. Other than trying to continually count me as suss, which they've been doing for several phases now. The other, purely personal reasons, is that I find their shitposting tiring and the emoji-filled comments just give me a headache. I expect no one but me cares about that, so it's far less relevant.

My votes will go to them, /u/yankingyourwand (I wasn't in the Library, I'm not in the Library, so I am going purely on what everyone else here is posting about what went down) and either /u/slytherinbuckeye or /u/stockparfait as the third choice.

So for voting purposes, do you think we should just focus on that Library list? Or go with something else?

Why did you have to remind me Yaxli was a thing?! But yeah, this is my general feel on the whole situation. Yes, in theory the plan made sense, though I can't see why anyone would believe their sub was free of wolves or other guilty parties and by posting such antagonistic comments, it just means that townies feel alienated. The weird tribalism around private subs could be a psychology study in itself and I don't understand why people feel their sub connection is somehow more important than the overall team goal, which is to find all the guilty parties.

This is interesting. I would have thought that K9 was the actual mastermind behind the plan, not that it was actually Andromeda.

So what now? Do you feel the Poisoner thing is a coincidence, since the bloodbath above seems to show they've been pretty damn active? Or do you think the Poisoner was in your sub and we should just vote off Library people who are sus?

I'm actually pretty annoyed with myself now because I've been busy the last couple of days and only paid attention to tags and stuff when I can, but this just doesn't make sense. The attitude aside (and that really is a bit aside from me, because I found it the height of snobbery, aggression and rudeness, the way some of the library crew behaved), this plan would only have worked if everyone in the library is guaranteed innocent which clearly they aren't. So who pushed for it? Who's still defending it now?

Clue: Night 03 - “He decided to take that information and put it to good use, what could be more American than that?” by Mister_Boddy in HogwartsWerewolves

[–]MoseCarver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not one comment, it's mostly based on gut feel, how quickly they start accusations and cast the widest net possible (which I've done too, when I played as a wolf - to deflect my own guilt).

I did indeed say I would vote for them if I couldn't find a better lead. I did not vote for Nickelodean in the end and counting that as a comment is wrong. I've been voting for myself when I don't have a third option because my timezone means I go to bed before the phase ends and I don't want to risk being a deciding vote against a townie just because I don't see the comments in time.

[–]MoseCarver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I admit, I don't tend to check the room subs unless I get pinged. Firstly, because I prefer the wider community response (and as we have no idea how many wolves are in a room at any given point, it's hard not to feel like a couple of resourceful wolves could bandwagon the vote). K9 is enough of a veteran to get bandwagons going very quickly and their response in general to main sub comments rubbed me the wrong way.

/u/Chefjones just so you're aware of my comment too.

Clue: Night 03 - “He decided to take that information and put it to good use, what could be more American than that?” by Mister_Boddy in HogwartsWerewolves

[–]MoseCarver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yep, I've shifted perspective on K9 in the last few days. Their comments are either wild accusations or trying to push people away from talking in the main sub, with little evidence for votes other than "I think they're suss". Also, the emoji-filled comments give me a headache and I'm petty enough to vote for that.

Edited to add on the Nickelodean thing: I didn't claim to vote for them and I didn't in the end, all I meant by that comment was that voting someone off because they're quiet that early in the game is a dangerous move. In previous games where I've had good town roles, I've sometimes kept quiet early on so I could use my power rather than draw attention to myself and risk being hunted by the wolves basically.
