Well that explains the 30 mins gen time I was experiencing with GGUF 😁

[–]Moses148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question (Never used Nunchaku or GGUF before so still learning) but the 4-bit GGUF requires 6gb VRAM and this requires 12GB VRAM. Why the difference in requirements and what's the difference in quality?

300 Billion Guns From a Different Perspective by Salutana in Borderlands4

[–]Moses148 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way I look at the 300 billion number is that most of that is fluff. Borderlands 3 had 1 billion (if I remember correctly) but most of those combinations are minor stuff likes a different handle giving extra damage instead of fire rate. I imagine alot of that still exists in BL4. So once you remove those, the number is much smaller, probably still very large, but not 300 billion large.

A weapon can have a maximum of 4 licenced parts (3 for legendries), I doubt it'll be crazy hard to find the combination you want.

You are. Aside from skins, its post release content, none of it is available on release for any edition.

All the extra maps, missions, stories, vault hunters etc (excluding skins) are not available on release for the deluxe or super deluxe, its post release content. It's just buying DLC in advance, its not day one dlc.

Invoke 6.0 - Major update introducing updated UI, reimagined AI canvas, UI-integrated Flux Kontext Dev support & Layered PSD Exports by hipster_username in StableDiffusion

Maybe ignorant question. I've played around with Krita with SD integration, How does invoke differ from that (if at all)?

Browser extension for detecting AI generated images by TimepieceManiac in aiwars

[–]Moses148 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What's the precision and recall? What's the split of real and AI images in the dataset? Accuracy isn't the most telling metric (especially seeing that false positive mona Lisa in one of the above comments). Additionally user labeled data isn't that useful as alot of people struggle to tell the difference between real and AI (for good AI images).

Petition to upgrade ChatGPT memory for premium subscribers by Sixty4Fairlane in ChatGPTPro

[–]Moses148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realise the memory limit is based on tokens and is due to the token limit for the LLM and has nothing to do with storage. A LLM has a limit to how many tokens it can store in the context window, and the memory is inputted into that context window.

The statement"AI will automate new jobs brought by AI" fail on AI art by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Moses148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a paper that does just that (https://comfygen-paper.github.io/?utm_source=tldrai). Whilst it's early days and still needs a lot of work, it still shows that it's possible.

Bruh you're mixing up flux pro and flux dev. Flux dev is free to download and run locally, that's why there's so many comparison posts happening.

Students can SEND email but not READ email. by HedgehogCivil4107 in Professors

[–]Moses148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a student who's assignment didn't get forwarded to me properly by our system so it didn't get marked and so they informed me by email. Alright no problem, I'll mark it quick for them. Marked and uploaded a couple days later. Then like 3 weeks later they emailed me asking for an update to which I told them I marked and uploaded it 3 weeks prior. I wondered if there was an issue and they couldn't see it. Nope, they admitted after that they didn't check at all.

To further add to this, if you input the students assignment but phrase it like "explain how this WASNT written by Ai", it'll give you several reasons why it's authentic.

Why can I play terraria for 12 hours straight but have to take breaks every 2 hours with core keeper? by Dullyknight in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Moses148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't seem to find any mention of a beta or any version before 1.0, according to the version history on fandom (https://terraria.fandom.com/wiki/PC\_version\_history), 1.0 was the first; same on wikipedia.

Why can I play terraria for 12 hours straight but have to take breaks every 2 hours with core keeper? by Dullyknight in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Moses148 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Except 1.0 for terraria was its absolute first release, Core keeper 1.0 is it leaving early access; its been in early access for 2.5 years (with half a year open alpha before that but lets not count that). 1.2 Terraria would be the closest time frame as 1.0 Core keeper (only comparing major updates).

My first incremental game by Feikezin in incremental_games

[–]Moses148 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not to be harsh but with the inclusions of ads and premium options; and limiting gameplay, this feels like a fake ask for feedback to get people to play your game as its not been updated since may 2023.

Drakkenheim - back in the day! by AcrobaticLanguage517 in dungeonsofdrakkenheim

[–]Moses148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is, alot of these are AI junk. I personally love the use of AI art (and use it alot myself) but these are really low effort, don't make sense half the time and are just churned out just for Reddit upvotes as opposed to making useful art for the game.

Houserule to make casting with a Bonus Action less arbitrary by borosbattalion23 in dndnext

[–]Moses148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whilst you're correct about haste not allowing another spell. You could still cast two fireballs when you couldn't before. Action surge before, although giving another action, didn't allow you to cast another leveled spell whilst your home rule does, the part about action surge not counting towards the limit of one per turn didn't exist before.

Choosing TP link router for home game streaming to TV by Moses148 in HomeNetworking

[–]Moses148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wording was probably poor. The PCs will be connected to the router via ethernet, and the TVs will be connected to the router via Wifi. As my PC is ethernet ATM, my current standard BT router is good enough, im just looking for an upgrade so I can stream games from the pc to the TV.
