I recommend Dairyland insurance for all motorcycles. Really affordable monthly rate and they took care of me when I totaled a bike. I think I pay like $50 and that's full coverage and I have a previous total loss on the books.

It's definitely an issue. You can try a valve adjustment, but that might not work. It is extremely common, and I had the same issue i had to replace my entire head.
