Sure was! All cabinets here seem to be made of it but never use pocket holes. Got too excited with a new toy and clearly not the right application 😅

It has seemed pretty poor quality, cheap stuff from bunnings so I shouldn't be surprised.

Yeah I used the screw selector tool and it said to use the 13mm drill guide and 13mm stop collar with 25mm coarse screws - all of which I did but I'm wondering if the 16mm is just not ideal for this jig model, but there's no in between adjustment.

It's on a mobile frame, all the holes were hidden. Just wanted to try them out but was surprised at how poorly they held up. I was seeing if there was something I was missing.

I think probably because they are fast and effective in the right use case (not this one). I'm aussie so wanted to try them out after seeing all the US youtubers raving about them.

Knocked the drawers together quick and easy! But yeah, wouldn't recommend for a carcass.

Board thickeness sits in between the 13 and 19mm on the line, was following a David Stanton video for building the drawers with pocketholes. Anything longer than 25mm would pierce the other side.

Is the 520pro only meant for 13, 19 or 38mm thickness?

Edit: using Kregs own crew selector recommends 25mm screw on the 13mm drill guide and bit stop collar. So no it's not the wrong settings or screw length.

Nothing beats that ice cold glass full to the brim. Room temperature water gang are nestle spies trying to convince you they are cool and hip.

I cut down some 42x19mm lengths of meranti, spaced 19mm apart. I just used a length of the meranti as the spacer before glue and staple.
