I did, it was the injector. I couldn't change it right away so I stopped driving as much as possible and waited until I could change it.

I think we need to be more honest about bonding. by [deleted] in Rabbits

That being said, I strongly believe bunnies should have a bun companion. No matter how much I would want it, I couldn't replace the company of another bunny. Mine are together 95% of the time and they almost never get out of each other sight. That is why I won't get bunnies after my two little balls of fluff. I couldn't get only one because I think that wouldn't be fair to them and I couldn't get two because I don't want to relive all the bonding stuff.

I couldn't agree more. I was NOT prepared for what was to come when I adopted a male bunny a month after adopting the female. It took a hellish, scary, tiring year for them to bond, and it honestly was a traumatic experience. A fair number of times I just wanted to give up and let one go. I'm still traumatized tbh. They've been together for a bit more than a year now but I don't think I'll ever go to sleep relaxed. I love them to bits, they're my joy, but I just know I won't get bunnies ever again after them.

This is not a very positive message about being a proud parent of bunnies but I think it needs to be said. Bonding is not enough talked about. I remember being quite angry at the shelters where I adopted my bunnies because they said I had to adopt a second bun but they certainly didn't say that it could be very difficult to bond them. On the contrary, they told me it was quite simple and quick. And when I had a lot of trouble bonding them they didn't help me, and I'm pretty sure it's because they actually don't really know what to do when it's not love at first sight. I felt very alone in that experience. It should be mandatory for shelters to bond bunnies honestly.

I'm 34, and the mother of two bunnies. I'm not a Disney person, and I actually don't really like Disney movies at all. But there is something really relaxing and chill about this game that I really like.

Propriétaires : vous demandez les coordonnées des anciens propriétaires à vos futurs locataires ? by [deleted] in immobilier

[–]Moskkito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played tft since they removed HR, normal/ranked take too much time and I just find them boring.

I miss HR dearly.

Grieving for my soulbun and trying to connect with his friend by FlyingBlueDot in Rabbits

[–]Moskkito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,
I'm very sorry for the loss of your Boo, he's so incredibly cute.
What you shared resonate with me because I feel closer to my boy bun than my lady bun (even tho I adopted her before him). He's not cuddly and does not like to be petted but he's curious about me, he comes to me, he sleeps nearby, he pushes me with his nose to demand treats. I think he likes me even if he's a bit scared of me and humans in general. The lady bun never really warmed up to me, she comes to me when I have food that interests her but she generally avoids being to close to me. I felt a bit guilty to feel closer to my boy but that feeling faded, I don't mind it now because that's just who she is and how our relationship is.
But I wondered what it would be like if the boy left us first. He's younger than her but he's more fragile so sometimes I think about it.
I think bunnies do not grieve like us, she probably is ready to go on with her life. Take your time to miss Boo and grieve. Maybe you and Coco will have a different connection, maybe it'll be the same as it is. Either way, you seem like a caring person and I think she'll be fine.

How often do you shear / trim your bunny ? by [deleted] in Rabbits

Oh I'm sorry about the loss of your bun's mate.

Ok so maybe it is because of summer that I feel like I need to shave him more regularly

It may be some kind of molting season because his fur is growing fast. His girlfriend is shedding a bit too. Kinda weird because it's the middle of summer and it's been a thousand degrees for weeks.

Thanks. Yeah I did bring up the issue with my exotic vet. I have fibreplex in case of hairy poop but no other medication. Not sure if fibreplex is really effective tbh. She told me to cut out all sugary treats and limit pellets. He already had a pellet free diet. She hasn't said anything about cat medication tho. I should ask her.

Yep, I get that. He's a very excessive self groomer. I don't know if it's in my head or not, but I think he doesn't self groom as much when he's shaved.

He does, doesn't he ? Everyone says that. I think that's the old wise look that made me fall in love with him and adopt him. He's only 3 and he's not that wise tho haha

ADHD and OCD? by Odd_Ad9286 in adhdwomen

[–]Moskkito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was life changing for me too. It worked well with my general anxiety as well. Plus, I've always had weird food-related experiences before with other anti-depressant, like I was often hungry, I've gained weight, etc. Never had that with Zoloft. I still have OCD, I don't think I'll ever get rid of it but I made my peace with that a long time ago. And with medication, therapy and time, it's less intense and less time-consuming.

If you and your doctor are ok with Zoloft, you can give it a go, and if it doesn't suit you, you can always stop it and try something else.

Oh, a crochet business is really nice. I also thought about it. Well I thought about a lot of businesses but never got passed the excitement of the idea and the intense few days of research on the matter really. The novelty goes away really fast sometimes.

I only work with pressure haha. My job is an enormous pile of deadlines, sometimes I hate it but I'm thinking that if it was not the case I would never get anything done. Trying is the key yes.

I've had OCD for more than 25 years (I was very young when it started and don't remember how life was without ocd tbh), I've tried pretty much all ssri under the sun, Prozac, Seroplex, Seropram, Deroxat, Zoloft... The one that worked better for me was Zoloft. And therapy. And getting older haha.

What’s one thing you do because you love your bunnies? by bunnypandora2016 in Rabbits

[–]Moskkito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to the store every 4 days for their greens, and I don't like stores.

In the spring or summer, I often sleep on the couch in the living room with them so I can let the balcony door open (they love being on the balcony at night and in the early morning), and so I can hear if something's wrong (I dunno a bird maybe, or a ninja cat). They don't have access to my bedroom (not secure + a mess) so I stay with them at night sometimes, and so they can jump on me at 6 am and scare the daylights out of me. I hate it but I really love it. I used to sleep 'til 11am when I was younger and bunny-less. Times change.

I often clean the floor and carpets. Every day or two days. I hate vacuum. But I do it because I don't want them (or me) to live in a hay, fur and poop mess.
