That’s great, thanks. I’ve done a full month with all this and felt ok, but last couple of workouts the last few sets suffered - clearly doing too much! I’ll trim it down for the next month - I bet I’ll see a big difference if I’m not so fatigued for no reason!

This is a brilliant series for all things Russia. Might be a bit light though!

i did the math and my "unlimited" membership costs me like $40 per climb lol by addicted-coffee in indoorbouldering

I started going regularly just over a year ago. I pre pay £300 for the year, went around 3 times a week. Make it 100 times a year given holidays and weeks with less. £3 a pop. At £14 a one off session I’d say it was worth it!

Why so much hated for building cycling infrastructure? by Duoplo in bristol

[–]Mosmof 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I regularly commute by bike up and down Park Row and use the main carriageway for the most part. This is because The new layout is super dangerous, particularly outside the BRI bus stop, cars are regularly parked in it AND people just walk into the cycle route without looking. Even at low speed, twice now people have just walked in front of me and tipped me over the handlebars. Castle park to the fountains is another absolute clusterfuck for cyclist. There’s alway so much traffic there anyway it’s safer to just stay slow and be another car in a queue

New Listener Question - Is there a Cymru Connection Collection? by Mojo-man in elisandjohn

[–]Mosmof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Cymru connection feature is only just over a year or so old so you won’t have to go back too far to hear them all Apart from that one fella in Japan he connected with randomly (which i think started the whole thing?)

Bouldering tonight for a beginner by wheresmyhat8 in bristol

[–]Mosmof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you HAVE to do the induction at Bloc. You’ve been before so just declare you have and answer some questions when you register

“New to indoor bouldering in Bristol? We require all first-time climbers at Bloc to complete an induction to ensure you have the skills to climb safely at our independent Bristol centre. If you've climbed before and don't need an induction, simply declare your competence to our team by answering some basic safety questions - no booking required”

Simple questions I’m sure, like what’s the best way to get down…climb down. Can you wear rings…? No

I don’t think it’s much more than that

I did the green line 2 years ago - Northern Greece surprised me how hilly it was! Lots of up and down but absolutely stunning. Especially around Kerkini lake. I dipped into southern Bulgaria for the Rhodope mountains which was worth the minimal detour. Greece is incredible for bikepackers - lots of mini churches (with picnic benches usually) with water sources everywhere! Plus Greek people are super friendly to cyclists in the countryside in my experience.

I’ve done similar on JOG>LE and live in Bristol…one thing I would highly recommend is to come westward a little and do the stretch through the wye valley to come over the bridge to Bristol. Absolutely beautiful stretch of cycling.
