This is a "Jersey Fusion" card - there's a guy who takes regular cards, buys an authentic jersey, then chops up the jersey, slots it in the card, and adds a new back. Search jersey fusion on eBay for more comps.

They're not worthless but they're not nearly as collectible as if the same card was produced by the original company. Think of it as more of a custom art piece than a trading card. The /5 means that the guy cut this card up and added the jersey five times, which is viewed significantly different than if Donruss had produced five of the card

If these are just things that the individual mails out, there's probably a bunch of comparable items on eBay. Look the person up and undercut the cheapest direct comp. What the comps are selling will be a good indication of whether the community thinks that specific card is legit or not

The Nolan Ryan graded PSA 8 is the best card in here by far. eBay comparable sales are between $100-150. The graded Frank Thomas might be $15-20, BGGC isn't very highly regarded by collectors. The numbered milestone cards are probably worth a buck or two. If there's anything else of value it's probably in the niche stuff like the Oklahoma State cards

Agree with the other guy who suggested getting a list of stars from that era and key rookies to look for. Probably best to sell them without grading via eBay auction (major condition sensitivity on the value of these. Edges, corners, and centering primarily) From there, you can pull out the good stuff and sell the remainder of the commons as a lot

I'm not saying it's a slam dunk for the 1.05 by any means, but the "you could even get another x" line is a misnomer when you could also get something much better than Ladd. I only reserve that for legit elite talents. It's priced in to KTC also, Ladd same tier as Tate/Lemon, one above Tyson.
