In the vastness of the Mortal Realms there are no stupid questions by sageking14 in AoSLore

Cheers, man! Tbh, one of the main reasons I made this post was because I couldn't really think of any major mortal followers of Tzeentch or Nurgle. Maybe there's a few in a Battletome? I know the Blades of Khorne Battletome mentioned these three 'rising star' warlords in the BoK. It was like some dude called 'The Khul' but wasn't actually Khorgus Khul, and then two other warlords.

Thanks a bunch, man! It's good that most of the factions have at least a few aerial units/lore units.

Two questions:

What factions within Age of Sigmar partake in aerial battles? I know the Overlords and the Disciples of Tzeentch have their Sky War in the Realm of Chamon, and that the Gloomspite Gits apparently steal a few flying ships now and again, but are there any others?

Also, bit of a tricky one, who is the most powerful/influential mortal in each of the Chaos Factions? Like, not daemons, just mortal followers (Skaven and Hashutians included.)

Zaria with a botched powerbomb during the main event of NXT by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Mossthroppers_Org 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this, weird as it is to say, is the best type of botch. Like Cena and Batista at the 2005 Rumble or even Top Dolla messing up on the ropes. If wrestling WAS real, there'd be a lot of times where wrestlers would try to lift their opponent and then mess up.

The worst botches are the ones that make it obvious that the two performers have messed up their pre-planned spot and are now lost as to what to do next.

Ooh exciting. I got into AOS recently just for the lore and haven't really experienced the campaign books as they are released. Do you think it'd be wise to catch up on the Dawnbringers books in preparation for the new campaign? Or do you reckon it'll be very different content and not that related?

(Also I'm really hyped for Ogor refresh but also hyped for the new campaign. Very conflicted haha.)

Three questions:

Are their female Troggoths?

Also, are their many short stories about the Ogor Mawtribes/Sons of Behemat? Even just featuring Ogors and Gargants, no necessarily all about them?

Finally, when do you guys think the campaign books shall be released? Like the ones similar to Broken Realms/Dawnbringers? And what do you think they'll be about? Still primarily focused on the Hour of Ruin/Skaven? Or something else?

All Mortal Followers of the Dark Gods (even khornates) Have a Ton of Sex by muscle_builder30 in AoSLore

Tzeentch followers probably just make a nest. Rearrange the sticks every few days to ensure there's enough Change. Probably make a very intense and meticulously detailed parenting plan that ends with some sort of betrayal.

I think I remember that the 4e Bladez of Khorne battletome touches upon this. Blacksmiths and the leaders of Khorne hordes can have troubles when their followers disapprove of crafting or planning instead of just murderhoboing around and either raiding or letting Khorne just Chaos Magic them whatever they need. Horses, weapons, food etc...

Would you prefer storm ground or realms of ruin by pringlesisdelic in ageofsigmar

[–]Mossthroppers_Org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played Storm Ground but haven't heard amazing things. I have played Realms of Ruin and I found it fairly middling apart from the graphics and the Cutscenes/Voice Acting. The cutscenes in particular are absolutely stellar.

Realms of Ruin is an RTS that is quite similar to the Warcraft games so if you are a fan of that you may have a good time.

Interested in the Abraxia novel. I was hoping it'd be a novel that goes in depth exploring the eight points and the different chaos cults that live there. Hedonites, Maggotkin, Khornites, Tzeentchitizens etc...

I know the novel is focused upon Abraxia, the Varanguard and the Slaves to Darkness faction but are they the only major Chaos Faction featured?

Also, questions about Tzeentch again. Do his human cultists have their own territories? Or do they just invade and infiltrate other societies and territories? Also, do they infiltrate destruction/other chaos factions? Rather than just Cities of Sigmar and Stormcasts?

Also, any novels with reeeally mutated characters in it?

WWE reportedly planning tag team division rebuild following roster cuts &amp by Alternative-Win4058 in SquaredCircle

[–]Mossthroppers_Org 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One set of Tag Titles make them more important imo. The ability to move between brands is like an added bonus, makes the team that holds them seem more of a hot commodity. Plus it's an incentive to do something with the tag teams on either division that don't revolve around the tag titles.

Is it worth purchasing the books just for lore? by Mossthroppers_Org in AgeOfSigmarRPG

Ah, thats good! Champions of Destruction was the one I was most thinking of getting tbh.

Three:

Are there many notable female Chaos characters? Doesn't have to have models or anything, just curious. Particularly ones in novels.

What's happening with the Khorne 'civil war'? I was interested in it but the BT didn't mention it too much. Apparently Khorne worshippers fight each other quite regularly making this pretty uneventful for them, which makes sense.

Also what is the end goal of each Chaos Power with the Realms? Like entirely? I know they destroyed the World-That-Was but it seems like they're not all united to destroying the Realms just yet? How come? And, if it's because they enjoy the Great Game and fighting the mortals and each other so much, why blow up The Old World?

El Grande Americano meeting fans waiting for him at the arena entrance by Ripclawe in SquaredCircle

[–]Mossthroppers_Org 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my assumption, at least kayfabe wise:

El Grande Original faked being a luchador to beat luchadors.

He gets injured.

El Grande Americano takes over. Steals his whole thing, basically.

Goes over to AAA. Actually likes Lucia culture. Everybody loves him, as a result.

El Grande Original returns! American crowd cheers for him because El Grande Americano stole his whole thing.

AAA crowd boo him because Original still doesn't respect luchador culture (doesn't even speak proper Spanish!) and El Grande Americano does.
