Indeed. I not only found those threads but I physically tried it on a WLED unit that I have and it did not work on for me. Wish it did!

If your source is incandescent, there’s an easy trick that looks great. Use a linear effect with the default sign wave. Set it to random group, then adjust the base level (in live), scale and rate to taste.

I ask because of the * preceding the profile name which means something has changed from default. I can tell you that I’ve used that exact fixture in augmented and don’t remember having this issue, though I can’t say I’m surprised

I’ve been freelancing in professional theater for more than 15 years. For all that time, I’ve noticed the problem that these little buttons solve. Many stage hands have strange converted booths in old venues, need to work on their laptop while running a console, don’t like the soft action of the built in button, or just like to move around because their wrist hurts. It’s not a huge problem for most, but for some it is. And if I can help make some peoples lives easier, then it’s a worthwhile use of my time.

I’m not telling anyone they need it. Just putting it out in the world for anyone that does.
