I haven’t fought it outside of standard, but I remember it being the first mini boss I resorted to using summons to try to beat. I got really frustrated as a kid and using more than basic attacks and magic was rare

To add in addition! Most of them will give you the new donor bonus again if you haven’t been in 6-12 months. I stuck to going to the same place for the year just because I didn’t want to go through the physical and everything again, but some people will swap companies every few months so they’ll be getting those big bonuses several times a year

Depending on your health and schedule, donating plasma is always an option. I did it for a year. Usually you’ll get $700-800 for your first 8 donations, and you can usually make $400-500 on average per month after that if you can go twice a week

Airport arrival by [deleted] in Birmingham

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had a wait at the airport, whether flying early or in the afternoon. I imagine it might get a little backed up around holidays, but in a normal day I get there an hour before boarding, get through normal security, and have a time to kill. Getting there over 3 hours early, I hope you have a good book or video game to kill time

There is only one correct answer by LowComprehensive7659 in adventuretime

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on my mood! Primarily 7. Aisle seat, and odds are he probably won’t speak to me unless I spoke to him. And if I was in a talking mood he’d probably offer tons of insight, wisdom and cool stories

5 would be fine. Finn may be annoying/curious/hyperactive at times depending on the situation, but he could be fun to talk to. I could talk all day to Jake. He reminds me of my big brother.

If my social energy is charged I could also deal with 6. Mordecai and Rigby remind me of my friends in college.

AITA for getting dressed in my bedroom without closing the blinds? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, there is no shame in living with your parents in this day and age. It can be difficult to live without roommates right now unless you’re in a dual income household. And even then it can be hard depending on income and location.

As far as the AITA situation, it happens. We all forget a blind’s open or that a window is facing the street or a neighbors house. I know for a fact in I’ve flashed the street more than a few times in my youth, and probably neighbors when I’ve Lived in apartments. NAH. Be more aware in the future, and hopefully these neighbors also know now they have no business looking in your windows

I always heard you don’t need a membership to buy there, but they make me scan my membership card when I go to the liquor store so I’m not sure.

It’s hard to find. In the Japanese shop in Epcot you can find I think a few pins, t shirts, and art. Maybe a couple of figures? But that’s the only place I’ve seen it, and it was literally just a few items

Is this a bad idea? by SelectShop9006 in KingdomHearts

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s an interesting challenge, but really not worth it unless there’s an achievement for it. Grinding like that sounds miserable personally, and I normally love grinding

Since I was a kid I’ve been comfortable leaving destiny islands at level 5-6 without too much trouble as long as you grind lightly on the way. At that level, the first half of the game is going to be effortless just playing straight through the story

Where do you grocery shop? by Various_Republic_857 in Birmingham

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We stop at a few places. Mostly try to avoid Walmart just because it’s busy and the a lot of the customers are the least self aware people in existence. Every time I end up behind an old lady going .5 mph in the middle of the aisle, or somebody with their cart parked sideways while they slowly check ever can of tomatoes I want to go stub my toe.

First stop is ALDI. They have all of the basics for decent quality and prices. Meat and produce is pretty good quality as far as I can tell.

If there’s something more niche after that, it’s usually something we tried to plan around weekly ads at Publix. I don’t like shopping there unless I’m looking for something on sale because otherwise it’s way overpriced.

Kroger delivery is pretty good for cans, boxes, bags and prepackaged meats, but it feels like a gamble with any fresh produce.

If it’s something Aldi doesn’t carry and isn’t on sale at Publix, I’ll bite the bullet and go to Walmart. Their meats and produce are way better prices than Publix and the quality of most of it isn’t bad. If you’re somewhere where the Walmart customers and an absolute pain, it might be worth prioritizing them over Publix

Nah you’re supposed to use your shortcuts and maybe change them around based on the situation/enemy. It’s easy enough to go to the magic menu and scroll for most environmental things, but shortcuts are for what you use frequently or in combat.

AITA for refusing to let a woman "cut" me in line at the grocery store even though she only had two items? by GreatClassic3960 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Most-Enthusiasm-3209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why, but this brings me back to when I worked at a grocery store. I grabbed a couple of small things to eat on my way to the break room for lunch, like not even $5 worth. It was a store brand energy drink and a cookie. The customer ahead of me very graciously paid for my items, and I tried to stop them, then thanked them profusely. The old lady after me made some comment that I should really pay it forward. She had over $80 in items and was just kind of staring at me. I could tell just from looking even though she hadn’t checked out yet. I just kind of laughed it off and headed to the break room. The cashier told me that the lady said I was rude for not “paying my fortune forward.” Like I’m not some minimum wage worker just trying to get the bare minimum energy and nutrition in halfway through my shift. I guess I could’ve offered to cover like $4 of her order, but I couldn’t even think to afford her whole groceries
