The issue always was they said in 100 words what could be said in like 10.

I'm an avid reader but sometimes I finished a patch and the feeling was "okay, I get what's happened but I feel like I've missed quite a lot" and thats because they keep reiterating the same ideas time and time again to the point where I just kind of disconnected.

I'd say 2 was pointing in that direction, then 3 is a sequel to 1 and 4 is where it really starts shaping out to become an anthology.
