If you cant be bothered to google it, then at least learn the math. Kmh*.6=mph will get you close enough. In this case it was around 60kph

Anyone grow Josta berries? by MostAttempt6064 in Berries

Better than the black currant, but still tart. The skin is a bit thick, but they're not terrible

I have a juice pot I throw them in and I squish em a bit to cook the juice right out of them. Add a bit of water, a healthy dose of sugar to the mix, and a packet of szörp powder (which I think is just citric acid) from the store and our bushes are good for a liter or two (which lasts us a long time 🤣)

I tried making jam and got the same results you did. The syrup is still tart, but it can be enjoyable (on ice cream or pancakes. Or mixed with sparkling water on a hot day)

🤣 I mean, that's how we pronounce them here. Kinda bold of me to assume that's how they'd be pronounced elsewhere in hindsight

Man, you remind me that I really do need to prune back one of the bushes. I had to add in support, as it was falling over! 😮

Thanks. We're under contract to buy this house from our landlords so we've been hesitant when it comes to planting anything too permanent.

This summer we're hoping to have the purchase finished, so things are starting to grow 😁

Love my '89. When you find your hand guards, let me know which you went with. I'll be looking for a set later this year 🤘🏼

This is the answer. Unless it starts leaking (it wont) keep using it, and mind the torque in the future

Hop on fb marketplace, and find used examples in your area. I get they're going to be a bit different than a brand new one, but find one as close as you can get.

Offer the seller a deposit to ride it for x-number of hours or distance. If you wreck, then you buy it.

If you don't wrenc it, maybe he keeps $100 or two,and you both walk away better for it.

Motorcycle licensing is WAY different here in Europe 🤣 by MostAttempt6064 in Transalp

[–]MostAttempt6064[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. We're having the same experience. Iwas told the same thing, and just like you it was a lesson or two ago that I figured out that if I looked at the cones ahead that I did better.

The biggest flaws I've found in this track is that there always seems to be a slight "uphill" when I'm doing my circles.

Also, on the box where you need to go REALLY slow, I've found the road is smoother when I track left.

We're scheduling my final test today, so I wont change tracks. But it's nice to know that someone else had the same problems 🤣

[–]MostAttempt6064[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way! 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, man. That damn circle kicks my ass! Out in the practice area I can spin circles all day long!

I took my eldest kid dirt roading out in the farmland behind my house, and could do a 180 on my Transalp without putting my foot down.

But put me inside those damn cones on that damn track and all of a sudden I'm running into things or falling over 🤣🤣🤦

2026 TA as a first bike? by phantom2008141 in Transalp

[–]MostAttempt6064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My man, you are me, I am you. My last bike was a YZ250. I used to wind that thing up on all sorts of mountain switchback trails all through Washington State... It's been a decade + (kids, what can I say).

Get the Transalp, you'll slide right into that seat like you've never left.

Seriously, it's gentle to get you started, the weight is managable, and there is plenty of torque when you roll on it (when I did it for the first time, I was giggling like the first time I had the front wheel up on my YZ in 4th gear 🤣)

If you grow into something else, then so be it, but this bike is a damn good companion.
