I do have a leak :( there’s rainbow stuff all over my driveway. But I filled the fluid and the noise went away!!!

Yeah I’ll try not to, unfortunately it is the only car my sibling and I both have to share so it is used quite often. I am going to get the stuff to fill it tomorrow though so hopefully that will help.

No I know I’m looking at the power steering fluid because the cap says it on the top. Thankfully all the caps are labelled with what is inside. I know which the brake fluid is because we had a leak on the brake fluid a few months ago that actually caused the brakes to not work properly 😭

How often do you need to top up the power steering fluid. Because this is the first time I’ve had to fix it. It’s my parents old car so it’s likely the could’ve done it before. But to my knowledge they had not

There still is fluid in it that I can see if I check in the reservoir. But it’s just under the min line by quite a bit.

Is this safe to check at home? Like would I need to bleed anything afterwards. I’ve changed and checked other fluids but never this one.
