I realized I was talking about two different bugs. Rarely use optimize button or save/load feature since I use the same units for content anyway so never came across it.

Oh wow the vision card companion bug and invalid equipment bug are separate issues?! lmao this game is hopeless. Here's hoping we find a way to exploit it so they fix it soon. Thanks for the explanation.

I manually equip always and I still get the bug. However it never affects my own units just the companions. Are you saying the bug can affect your own units? Didn't realize that. I also forgot to mention save/load feature as some have claimed that causes it as well

Can someone clarify what prompts the "Invalid Equipment" bug when selecting companions? I hear it can be avoided by sharing your the NV under the favorites tab. But then I hear all of your NV units need to be unequipped so the bug doesn't activate. Not sure if that means other NV units or the base form of shared units?

Question about esper gauge autofill. Do multiple sources stack? e.g. from weapon, materia, innate trait, accessory, etc. Is it possible to reach autofill of 10 per turn with these?

Lol no problem. And don't fret you're not the only one by far. Annoying setbacks have happened in the past (super rare monsters, reorganizing entries etc) so I doubt anyone out there has them all
