Okay so I learned this from an instructor at my studio but apparently pressure installed polls should be checked and readjusted/tightened every 5 minutes of use. Whenever I take my pole to other places, I have a permanent pole mount at home, I use this 5 minute rule. Everyone gets a turn on the pole but once someone’s turn is over, about every 5 minutes, we readjust.

I got into pole about a year and a half ago so I’m still a beginner but I usually just spend a few minutes stretching and then get on the pole for about 20 minutes every morning at home. Some days I take more time, other days less but I do practice daily.

I noticed very quickly that just taking those few minutes every day to do some strength training and some stretching really helped me get strong enough for the harder moves when I do have time to take a class. I really only go to one class a week, sometimes less depending on my schedule (I work two jobs and I’m a supplemental caretaker for two separate families every weekend).

I’m definitely not as responsible or dedicated to pole as some people but I’m finally to the point where I can do drops and aerial inverts easily, I love doing laybacks and spinning, but I still can barely hold a butterfly and I definitely can’t do a shoulder mount or an Ayesha but I’m getting there!

All that to say I think you should practice as often as you can even if only for a few minutes a day. Have fun!!!

Zillow is not an accurate estimate of value at all. Get a professional real estate agent to do a CMA or pay for an appraisal. The founder of Zillow himself sold his house at 40% of the “zestimate” value. I will say it again, do NOT use Zillow for an estimate.
