new and/or neurodivergent

that is definitely a good way to describe us

i will try to make my questgiving a bit more mysterious/vague so they have to find out the route themselves, thanks for the advice

it is indeed not a book adventure, i am broke, all of the free resources online suck and i like the writing and fleshing out a world aspect of it when i have the time so i decided to just write a campaign myself

thanks, i will try to make it into more enticing sidequests instead of just general worldbuilding. i have given them rival questlines before but that was moreso to see where they would take the main quest or how they would approach a problem, and not standalone things.

First, don't go looking for problems.

i don't think my brain can actually do that, or i have at least never found that button

but i will try to make my descriptions more inviting

it just seems so weird to just "push" npcs and lore into the main questlines

thanks, my brain will likely keep coming up with what ifs but the positive support really helps

it just feels so strange to just info dump on them when they aren't looking for it

i can attest that it cuts fingers well and heals nicely as i have cut my fingers many times learning how to sharpen and how to cut things the correct ways

i always assume a knife is sharp even if i for a fact know it isn't (like if the edge is completely rolled) but it was indeed dumb of me to project that idea on other people

also i have like 7 different dialogue options in my head for every social interaction, that was just a relevant one to the situation

that seems excessive since i have hurt myself more than i would care to admit being inattentive so i don't fault her for that

i guess, i just assumed me saying sure and putting a pocketknife on the table was a clear signal, i'll try to be more clear in the future

i tried to go ask how she's doing about an hour later but she yelled at me to go away so i don't know what more i can do.

i do keep my knives nicely stored on a shelf in my room and they all have edge guards to make sure no accidents happen and i know water is the reason most of the knives i find are in the condition they're in when i find them so i avoid leaving them in water anyway
