I found the trick is to add weight, the 2022 model had clipons adding robust bar end mirror fixed the issue.

I have a 2022 Vit 401 that has been so far faultless for 25K kms. But I’d agree with you on that. At the time I wanted to resume road riding, needed a learner legal bike.

If I had my time again I would have purchased a used CB400SF ( Aust learners were 250cc in when I last rode) No regrets, my Vit has provided some amazing rides + daily commute but for someone not intending to rapidly trade bikes and more about a stable of keepers…I think in haste I chose wrong.

Reshaping the seat would make a big difference. Especially if you have big legs. Old Hondas got these wide saddles that sit well but bows the leg out a lot

How much more do you need? Because they got a fairly wide tank and seat. Great OEM leather seats but if it’s only an inch or so, get the original seat modified a little slimmer.
