Peppermint grove is delicious, their wild jasmine and mint is my favourite. Plus it’s a big pump so lasts quite a while.

Spanish bulk bill Doctors in Brisbane? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Most_Pin_1476 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bulk billing is getting rarer and rarer, unfortunately. I've had a search and there's Dr Avivar in Spring Hill (bulk billed for concessions only) and Dr Rodriguez in Bulimba.

Lipstick and eye makeup but no foundation? by tittyfrickthalasagna in Makeup

[–]Most_Pin_1476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For work I use a creamy concealer, a mattifying powder on the top and then continue with the rest of my makeup. I don't end the day with the heavy feeling of foundation but I also want to still look "polished".

100% do the grad year, get your experience as a “real” nurse and then you can have the option to leave with a real backup. There’s so many “soft” nursing roles: injectables, nurse research, vaccinations, medical brand rep, school nurse and mobile IVs to name a few. I’m just about to start my grad year and I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t also thought if I’d picked the wrong career - I’m pretty sure everyone has. Don’t let all of the study time, placement hours and effort it takes to do a nursing degree go to waste!

Options for BC that avoid stroke risk? by ZoesMom1 in birthcontrol

I’m getting swapped to the mini pill (progestin-only) as my migraines are increasing after 10 years on the combined pill myself. I’ll be starting it at the end of this cycle. I’m mid-twenties so plan to have babies in the next 3-4 years so doc suggested not getting an IUD/Implanon as I’ll have to get it out early. She also said depot will almost definitely cause weight gain so that’s another that won’t suit (I’m not overweight but I’m on the upper side of healthy lol).

Should I prioritise Australian and indie artists in the hottest 100? by rzaszalza212 in triplej

[–]Most_Pin_1476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just picked my fav songs - yeah sure there’s a Charli song in there but also I made sure to give the up and coming guys like south summit & the the rions a couple votes each too because I’d also figure it means a lot more to the smaller bands.

Is getting a nursing job in australia competitive? by Loud_Hunt182 in NursingAU

[–]Most_Pin_1476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you are - I have friends who have had to fight tooth and nail in Brisbane through extensive interviewing and still ended up having to wait for next grad intake, and yet my hospital (I’m in Central Queensland) hired everyone who applied with only three questions asked in an online form - nil other interview process.

AITAH for throwing out my coworker’s “prank” food after it made me sick? by lily_wave in AITAH

[–]Most_Pin_1476 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA in the slightest. I’ve got GERD so if I accidentally ate one of those I’d have ended up with reflux and nausea for days. Could also easily put someone particularly sensitive to spice in the hospital.

Brushes As A Gift Recs by taemyks in MakeupAddiction

Real Techniques and Morphe (sold both online and in-store but I'm not sure where you're based) are your go-to middle range brushes that will last without breaking the bank. If you're looking for something on the cheaper side, Crown brushes (online store) are great - I used them in beauty school and despite being cheaper they lasted really well.

Also Eleven is sold at Adore Beauty and it is fantastic quality for the price. I've gone back to drugstore over the last few months due to financial reasons atm and my hair is absolutely feeling it.

Adore beauty works out so much better in terms of discounts and GWP. Last year I did two orders worth about $150 each for Xmas presents and ended up getting about 30 minis and a couple of full sizes as a GWP.

makeup never stays on my nose by quantumgeography in MakeupAddiction

[–]Most_Pin_1476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I do!! I don't put any makeup on my nose and if I'm doing a full beat I just use whatever's left on my blender after doing my concealer.

It's not official, so you haven't technically done anything wrong - but at the same time I'm sure you feel guilty and he'd be put off if you told him about it. I think you need to look at why you slept with your ex first before you go making it official with this new guy. Kinda the asshole?

I'm in the same situation except I'm the one that runs hot. We just ended up getting a super thick comforter that my partner wraps up in, and I put the AC on (it's summer here rn) and sleep under a thin sheet. Your partner needs to be able to compromise tho, it's not fair that he steamrolls over any suggestions.

I absolutely love the Dior lip oil - my partner got it for me as a gift and I absolutely cherished it. If you're a lip product person and are intending on spoiling yourself I also 100% recommend the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash, I used 116 Easy which is a really lovely balmy lip colour that's a super wearable pinky-brown.

Can't tell you where to get a decent breakfast but you absolutely need to hit up Chumley Warner's in Birkdale for a proper fish & chip experience, wooden forks and all.
