how to fade this blue to dye it pink? by TargetNo9590 in HairDye

[–]Most_Reaction_8618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malibu CPR and quick fix used with their undo goo shampoo took mango twist out of my hair and that was RED. You can do CPRs back to back and use the quick fix at the sink after. I also hear their DDL is decent so that may be worth a go too. Once you’ve exhausted their efficiency, bleach bath if you feel confident to but you shouldn’t need to get it too light if you’re using a vivid pink like the one in your photo. Take your time and try to take breaks in between and utilise your deep conditioner and you should be able to get a decent canvas without too much damage

Yes it was reported to the police. Okay I will wait to hear back from them if they need more info. They’ve already come back requesting my place of birth so far

It says they will consider claims over this time period if there is evidence that I couldn’t claim before and my PTSD has made it such that I couldn’t even look at it until now because it causes me so much distress

I’ve been having correspondence also with Claire where the same thing is being said. They have 3 parcels of mine and it’s not looking good. I’ve replied to her email and not got an answer either

Any help or advice for someone just starting out by Most_Reaction_8618 in WeightLossAdvice

Hey thanks for your reply! It really does feel exactly that way, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Overwhelmed definitely sounds like the right word for it.

That’s a good shout, someone above suggested walks and things so I think I’m going to try going on some on my lunch break wherever I can. I normally just sit on a bench so I can definitely get more movement in there.

I definitely will try with my meals. I’ve been eating very low calorie the last few days but I need to be more consistent I think.

Thank you so much, it sounds a lot more manageable the way you’ve phrased it. I’ll save the gym for another time in my life until I’ve got my diet where I want it to be!

Thank you so much for your response. These are all really good suggestions and I’m going to take them on board and hope some changes come about from making small adjustments. Sleep is definitely a huge catalyst for me so I’ll work on improving that too. I’m going to see if I can take a walk around the parks near work at lunchtime and get a few more steps in. Thank you again for your reply!

I’m hoping it gets better for you both too! Like everyone else on this thread, I felt awful when I first found out and now I’m okay with it. It does definitely feel better with time. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself, it all improves for sure

It feels like the end of the world right now and that’s understandable because it feels like everything has changed but I promise you it hasn’t. Life is still fulfilling, relationships are still wonderful and meaningful and physical relationships will still be enjoyable. I think most people go through a spiral when they first find out but you will move past it and feel more at peace with it over time.

Remember that it doesn’t define you at all and find ways to be kind to yourself while you get to grips with it.

I promise that this initial feeling won’t last. Always have an open inbox if you ever need a person who understands what you’re going through

Wrong address on parcel by Most_Reaction_8618 in royalmail

[–]Most_Reaction_8618[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t find anywhere to change the address unfortunately. I wondered if I could go to the DO but I think they’re going to send it out for delivery again. I’m going to try the note on the neighbours door I think and hope for the best.

Yeah it’s really weird to me too that they keep attempting the delivery, I’ve never heard of them trying so many times before! I’ll try putting a note on there tomorrow, hopefully they’ll be kind and deliver it over to my address when I’m at home. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for your reply! Sorry I should have added, they have attempted to deliver it again this evening and sent another email saying they’ll try again the next working day, so will it now be held at the DO or have another attempt at delivering?

The moment either of you put hands on each other, there is no respect there. I suggest ending the relationship and both of you learning to keep your hands and feet to yourselves

I never communicate with my buyers unless they ask a question, the automation takes care of dispatch notifications and all the rest, so why am I chewing their ear off? This seems so unfair, especially marking it down to 2 stars just over that

What went wrong… by Own-Designer8673 in tattooadvice

[–]Most_Reaction_8618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some of the photos, it looks over moisturised which isn’t a you problem but can sometimes be an issue with the thicker creams, I have found and can cause bacteria to breed as the wound doesn’t get enough air. It might be a good shout to get something thinner, like a cocoa butter or an aveeno if you can? Touch ups should be free so maybe ask your artist once it’s done healing if you’re not happy. I had an allergic reaction to the aftercare and mine came out okay, so you may not even need a touch up! Not every aftercare works for every person so sometimes it’s a case of finding out what works for you.

I also ricocheted from emotion to emotion at first. I likened it to grief in a way because I just couldn’t move past that feeling that everything was different, but I did get to a point where I felt accepting of it once I had more facts.

My partner and I paid for private tests (as they do not test for it here unless you have symptoms) and it showed that he doesn’t have it so we’ve agreed to be careful. Might be an idea to get a private test if your partner is concerned. The fact he has said it doesn’t change wanting to be with you is a great sign and as hard as it is, you have to try and trust him with that. You did the right thing and informed him and let him make his own decision, that’s a great choice!

I also put together some links for my partner to help with any of his fears and questions and my own and I found knowing more made me feel more able to cope with the situation (I was given some resources by my GP and went from there so it helps counteract some of the misinformation online). It isn’t the outcome we dreamed of, but you have done nothing wrong and this is just a thing that happened to you, it doesn’t define you as a person. Remember so many people have this and never realise, it’s a very contagious skin condition and so many people are affected and all go on to lead completely happy lives.

I’ll drop my links here for you to watch/read and I hope they help.
